"Sister Wang, put her in the high chair; let's eat together," Lin Xiao gestured for Li Hao to bring over the high chair.
The three of them enjoyed their meal, playfully teasing the children, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.
"Sister Wang, thank you for coming with us. I hope it’s not too much trouble for you," Lin Xiao said, feeling good about how smoothly everything had gone today. He suggested opening a bottle of red wine.
"Lin Xiao, if you keep saying things like that, I’ll be upset. I’m happy being here with you all," Wang Mei replied, her cheeks flushed from the wine.
"Let’s not dwell on that; let’s celebrate Lin Xiao’s success!" Li Hao proposed.
Laughter and cheerful voices filled the room, drifting into the courtyard and carried away by the wind.
The night was enchanting. Li Hao reached out to turn off the main lights, leaving only a soft yellow nightlight that filled the room with a cozy ambiance.
"Don’t worry; the door and windows are soundproof," Li Hao's hoarse voice whispered in Lin Xiao's ear.
Tian Tian, concerned that Wang Mei might have had too much to drink, pushed the crib into her own room. "Don’t be afraid; she’s asleep."
Lin Xiao still hesitated to make any noise. In the heat of the moment, he bit down on Li Hao's shoulder armor, letting out soft whimpers.
The sharp sensation ignited Li Hao's hormones, making him even more excited. As Lin Xiao felt herself getting lightheaded, she thought to herself that she had to make sure he went to work.
No, all the energy built up each day was being spent on herself.
