As John gazed at the originally obscure ancient characters, they seemed to be enchanted, gradually shifting into the script used by the Hecha Kingdom. John focused intently on these words, as if entering a mysterious and ancient world.
Upon careful study, he discovered that these inscriptions detailed a powerful ancient spell. This spell could harness energy to unleash a multitude of formidable storm blades upon its target. Just imagine those countless razor-sharp wind blades howling through the air, capable of tearing apart enemy defenses!
Following the instructions in the spell, John meticulously etched its patterns onto his arm. Then, he summoned the surging energy from within using the Universal Qi Training Method, continuously channeling it into the drawn array. Suddenly, he flung his left hand open towards the wall before him, and in an instant, five fierce wind blades shot forth like lightning.
A series of thunderous booms echoed as five deep gashes appeared on the hard stone wall, debris flying and dust swirling around. As the dust began to settle, what lay before him were five long trenches carved into the wall, as if clawed by a giant beast—an awe-inspiring sight.
Looking at this astonishing scene, John couldn’t help but nod in satisfaction, a smile of contentment spreading across his face: This is incredible! This spell array is truly remarkable! If I could teach it to my subordinates, our knightly order would possess a powerful means of ranged attack.
With this thought, John's heart brimmed with anticipation and confidence; he could hardly wait to see his knights shine on the battlefield.
Kuiradi was particularly sharp this time; he stepped forward quickly, his face beaming with flattery as he chimed in: "My lord, you are truly blessed! Just look at this spell mark—once it falls into your hands, we would have the courage to stand toe-to-toe with even the mightiest of mages! Hahaha!"
Normally indifferent towards Kuiradi's flattery, John surprisingly nodded in agreement this time; after all, what he said was indeed quite reasonable.
