"Su Wanqing," Mu Yunze's voice was cold, "you've miscalculated. I will not cooperate with you."
The smile on Su Wanqing's face froze; she hadn't expected Mu Yunze to refuse so decisively. "Mu Yunze, won't you regret it? The Class Flower is so vulnerable right now. If you show her just a little kindness, she will come back to you. Are you really going to watch her be with that scoundrel Ye Jingtai?"
"That's her choice; it has nothing to do with me." Mu Yunze coldly tossed out this line before turning away. He did not want to be entangled with Su Wanqing any longer; this woman made him feel sick.
As he stepped out of the cafeteria, Mu Yunze felt a wave of relief wash over him. He looked up at the sky and took a deep breath, trying to dispel the frustration within him. He decided to find Han Jincheng and have a good talk with her.
Han Jincheng was reading in the library when she saw Mu Yunze approaching, her face lighting up with a radiant smile. "Mu Yunze, you came to find me!"
Mu Yunze sat down across from her, looking at her warm, sunny smile, and felt a surge of warmth in his heart. "Jincheng, there's something I want to tell you."
"What is it?" Han Jincheng blinked her big eyes, looking at him curiously.
"It's about the Class Flower." Mu Yunze hesitated for a moment but decided to share everything with her. He recounted Su Wanqing's proposal and his refusal in detail.
After listening, Han Jincheng's expression became serious. "Su Wanqing is really too much! How could she be so calculating?"
"I'm fine," Mu Yunze smiled lightly. "I just didn't want you to misunderstand."
"I believe you, Mu Yunze." Han Jincheng held his hand firmly, her gaze resolute. "I know your heart only belongs to me."
Han Jincheng's warm hand brought Mu Yunze a sense of reassurance. He held her hand back gently and said softly, "Jincheng, thank you."
"Fool," Han Jincheng laughed as she pinched his cheek. "I trust you." She paused for a moment, a hint of worry flashing in her eyes. "But is everything really okay with the Class Flower?"
Mu Yunze sighed; thoughts of the Class Flower felt like a thorn lodged in his heart. "I don't know either. She's already with Ye Jingtai; what else can I do?"
"That scoundrel Ye Jingtai..." Han Jincheng gritted her teeth as if recalling some unpleasant memories. "I always feel like he has ulterior motives."
Mu Yunze nodded; he too sensed something deeper hidden beneath Ye Jingtai's nonchalant demeanor.
