"Could something have happened to Fourth Brother?"
Yan Kongyue shook his head. "He’s definitely still alive; it’s just that his presence is very faint."
"Could he be injured?"

Lin Qian's eyes turned red with worry.
"Follow us, and keep up with him!" Feng Xing commanded.

Fearing to startle anyone inside, Xiao General didn’t dare to enter the cave. Instead, he sent a scout ahead to investigate the situation inside while the others kept their distance.
As Yan Kongyue led the three of us into the cave, a man in his fifties emerged, walking with a slight limp.
"How did you get in here? There’s no one left in the village!"
"Sir, we’re here looking for someone. Have you seen a very handsome man who came with a film crew?"
"You must be talking about Lin Lang!"
"Yes, yes!" Lin Qian perked up at the mention of Lin Lang's name.
"He went out to find help. Lao Liu’s wife broke her leg, and there are two children; we couldn’t get out, so he went to look for assistance."
"When did he leave?"
"At dawn. The rain was much heavier then! I didn’t want him to go, but when he saw the old lady on fire, he just went."
Tears streamed down Yan Kongyue and Lin Qian's faces.
"Don’t panic! He might have just gotten lost!" Yan Kongyue reassured Lin Qian, patting her hand.
"Sir, where is the person with the injured leg? I’m a doctor!"
"Oh, you’re a doctor? That’s wonderful! Thank heavens! Come with me!"
"Wait a moment!"
Yan Kongyue turned back to the cave entrance and gestured towards Xiao Zhantian and the others, signaling them to continue searching for Lin Lang.
The cave was small but relatively dry. An elderly woman, a middle-aged couple, and a child of about seven or eight looked eagerly at Yan Kongyue.
"Lin Qian, bring them some food and water!"
"Okay!"
"Grandma, let me take a look at your leg!"
The old woman lay weakly on the hay, her face pale and covered in a sheen of sweat, with a piece of clothing draped over her leg. Yan Kongyue stepped forward and lifted the fabric. She was anxious to find Lin Lang, but she couldn't ignore the injured.
The old woman's leg was deformed, swollen like a water barrel.
"Grandma, I need to realign your bones. Please bear with me." Yan Kongyue took out a cloth from her bag.
"Bite down on this; if it hurts, just shout!"
The old woman nodded.
Yan Kongyue's lips moved slightly as her fingers, infused with spiritual energy, began to adjust the bones. In truth, with her spiritual power, realigning bones wasn’t as painful as it would be in a hospital. However, everyone had different pain thresholds. The elderly woman had endured pain for so long that her body had reached its limit; Yan Kongyue had to be cautious.
"All done!" Yan Kongyue pulled out a pill and placed it in the old woman's mouth.
"This medicine promotes bone growth. Your bones are just misaligned; they'll heal quickly!"
In reality, they were broken—fractured at an angle—but she couldn't say that. The old woman was different from Lin Qian; Lin Qian was family and didn’t need explanations. If the old woman healed too quickly, it would raise questions.
"Feng Xing, carry Grandma on your back. While the rain is light, hurry and get them out of here!"
"Okay!" Seeing Yan Kongyue wink at him, Feng Xing understood her meaning.
First hypnotize them, then teleport—don’t expose ourselves.
