Gu Feng Xing sat on the sofa opposite Yan Kongyue, using his spiritual sense to communicate with him.
"Let me prepare for a moment; we need to evacuate the people here first. We can't harm the innocent, and we certainly can't let them become leverage against us."
Feng Xing watched the performance outside, nodding unconsciously.
"Lin Qian," Yan Kongyue's voice whispered in Lin Qian's ear. Yes, he understood clearly that Yan Kongyue was not beside him.
"You need to find a way to keep these servers occupied for a while. I'll have my brother handle things to prevent them from following us."
Lin Qian blinked in acknowledgment. "Brother, in five minutes, find a way to set off some smoke in the backstage area. The backstage is the innermost part of this floor, and the floor above should be a hotel under renovation—there won't be anyone there tonight. The upper floors have all closed for the day; right now, the busiest places are this bar and the two restaurants next door."
Upon hearing about setting off smoke, Lin Zhuo immediately understood Yan Kongyue's intention. They had prepared two plans: one was a silent mode where they would sneak down to the basement quietly, and the other was a loud mode to create some chaos and take advantage of it to descend into the basement.
"Yes, it's clear now that Yan Kongyue wants to clear the area. Clearing it isn't difficult, but where will he get smoke?"
Seeing Lin Zhuo spread his hands, Yan Kongyue understood his meaning as well. He rummaged through his bag and pulled out something, directly handing it to Lin Zhuo.
Lin Zhuo's composure shattered at once: "Sister, where did you get tear gas from?"
"Do you want some? I have more!"
"Hehe, no need." Lin Zhuo's eyelids twitched; she hoped she didn't have any other illegal items.
"Feng Xing, as soon as there's any movement, summon Chu Ling."
"All of you should summon your Ghost Guardians as well; let them help evacuate the crowd."
Huo Jingyu felt a bit excited; he was still controlling himself not to show it too obviously but quietly gestured with his fingers.
How could he not be excited? Ever since he learned he had a Ghost Guardian, he had been thinking about when he could summon it to see it for himself.
Lin Zhuo was already prepared for her mission.
"Hey, Xiao Liu, come here!" Lin Qian called Liu Liang over while whistling at several other servers.
"Seventh Young Master, what can I do for you?"
"Um, do you have anything fun around here?" Lin Qian and the others blinked and grinned mischievously; after all, they were seasoned performers with their sly little glances.
Seeing his deadpan expression, Yan Kongyue felt an urge to punch him.
"Sister!" Lin Lang pointed to herself and raised her chin. "You stick close to me!"
Lin Zhuo was taken aback. Was her sister doubting her abilities? That shouldn't be the case! "If someone chases us from behind, can you handle it?"
"Of course!" Lin Lang's feet instinctively tapped along to the music.
"Hurry up," Lin Zhuo said, clutching a bouquet of flowers as she left the bar and headed toward the backstage area.
Everything was proceeding smoothly; the singer finished her performance and exited, while the band took a break.
Backstage, the recently departed singer spotted a tall, handsome man approaching with a bouquet in his arms.
"Hey? Xiaoyu, the one delivering flowers has arrived!"
"How did you know they were for me?" The singer, Xiaoyu, glanced at the Bass Player but felt a surge of joy inside. She received flowers every night, but this was the first time such a handsome man had personally brought them backstage.
