The scent of medicine filled the air, and Qin Dai Ruan felt a surge of strength. She gently touched the two pills with her fingertips, reluctant to take them.
"Auntie, Xiao Yang is worried about you. He didn’t want to disturb your rest by calling, so he asked me to keep an eye on you and make sure you take your medicine. Then he won’t have to worry anymore."
"Alright!" To ease her son's worries, Qin Dai Ruan slowly raised her hand and placed the pills in her mouth. Then she closed her eyes, as if imagining her son's face.

"Look!" Yan Kongyue said to Qin Yang, who was hiding by the door.
Qin Yang hesitated for a moment before stepping into the room. During his time at Qin Ze's house, he had listened to Qin Ze complain daily about how unlucky he was and how exhausted he felt. Gradually, he realized that those side effects were all caused by him.
But he had nowhere else to go; staying at his brother's house was the only way to tell his mother about his brother. He constantly made various noises out of resentment at home. His brother did nothing but complain. Fortunately, Brother Lin had come today and brought along a sister, which changed the situation.
He was afraid that his resentment would hurt his mother, so he didn’t dare to approach her. Instead, he knelt at the foot of the bed and bowed three times.

Xu Anping never expected that things would unravel so quickly. That sickly brat was still alive, and he had only transferred half of the Qin family's assets. Reluctantly, he struggled to get up.
Yan Kongyue didn’t care what he intended to do. With a swift kick, she shattered his collarbone. As for what happened next—detention or trial—it was no longer her concern; she just needed to vent her frustration first.
Lin Zhuo gave his sister a thumbs up. Breaking the collarbone was a good move; it wouldn’t affect mobility but would still hurt like hell. He had learned well.
