The sunset by the mountain looked like a shy girl hiding behind a fiery red veil. Yan Kongyue finally woke up, glanced outside at the sky, and decided to head downstairs for dinner. Your sister is still on the phone with Lin Lang, Lin Ruyu thought as she instinctively turned her head and saw Yan Kongyue stepping out of the elevator, her messy hair and sporty outfit making her look adorable.
"Lang, I won’t tell you that your sister is awake and probably hungry. I need to make her something to eat; I’ll talk to you later!"
"Mom, tell my sister I’ll finish filming tomorrow and will be back soon."
"Mm-hmm, got it!" Lin Ruyu didn’t care whether Lin Lang had finished speaking or not and hung up the phone.
"Yue Yue, are you hungry?"
"Yeah, Second Aunt!" Yan Kongyue wrapped her arms around Lin Ruyu's neck, hanging off her like a little monkey.
"Oh dear, are you so hungry that you have no strength left?" Jiao Jiao cooed as she held the soft little girl in her arms, melting the heart of this woman who missed her daughter terribly.
"Mm!" Yan Kongyue struggled to sit up straight, yawning with tears in her eyes as she nodded heavily.
"Let’s go to the restaurant!" If Yan Kongyue hadn’t been taller than herself, Lin Ruyu would have wanted to carry her there.
As soon as Yan Kongyue stepped out of the elevator, Qian Guanjia had already instructed the kitchen to start preparing the meal.
The wind swept through in a rush as Yan Kongyue rubbed her belly and chatted with Lin Ruyu and Shen Yun for a bit. When Lin Qian was hospitalized, Shen Yun and Lin Jingteng had delayed a lot of work; now that they were back at work, it wasn’t easy for them to find time today. When Lin Qian and Huo Jingyu finally got up, Yan Kongyue was ready to go back to sleep again. However, when she saw them appear in matching sports outfits, she sat back down on the sofa.

"Oh, then I can relax!" Yan Kongyue stood up, dramatically patted both of their shoulders, leaned in closer, and whispered, "You better stay alert; otherwise, when the time comes, you'll wish you could cry but won't have the chance." With that, he swung his arms and walked away.
"Crash? Crash what?" Lin Qian scratched his head and looked at Huo Jingyu.
"What does that mean?" Huo Jingyu stared blankly at Lin Qian.
"I don't know!" The two were even more confused.
