Inside the gourd, two golden bowls of chicken soup with potatoes were simmering, and Yan Qing had long since caught a whiff of the delicious aroma. He eagerly took the bowl, tasting it without hesitation, only to scald his tongue in the process.

In the end, all the blame fell on a dead person. Ultimately, Wei Yu was cleared, Zhu Yihuang was innocent, Cheng Xin secured her research position, and Wang Xiaoyan's reputation was ruined.
The following year, to mitigate the impact of the death in the female dormitory, it was converted into a male dormitory. They exchanged glances at the papers in hand, remaining silent. Only Qi Qiuluo expressed confusion, wondering why someone would rummage through a dead person's pockets and uncover the truth about Wang Xiaoyan's death.
