Yun Fan looked at Yun Yan, his smile somewhat clouded with confusion. He muttered to himself, wondering if it was really appropriate to laugh like that just for passing through Tian Jiao Inn.
Yun Yan chuckled and said, "You little rascal, you've even learned to trick your sister! Just now, there was a Heavenly Talent named Yun Fan who also passed through Tian Jiao Inn. You’re not saying that person was you, are you?"
After saying this, Yun Yan laughed heartily, looking at Yun Fan with disbelief.
Upon hearing this, Yun Fan's expression darkened. He realized that Yun Yan was just teasing him and noticed Uncle Hai and the others trying to stifle their laughter, completely unconvinced that the person who passed through was actually him.
A faint smile crept onto his lips as he decided not to explain. He thought to himself that he would let them know the truth later and see if they could still laugh then.
The group immediately got up, preparing to leave the inn and head outside. The man who had been chattering away about gossip suddenly froze when he caught sight of Yun Fan. As he recognized the face, his breath quickened.
He rushed over with shining eyes, excitedly exclaiming, "Yun Fan!"
As Yun Fan was about to leave with the Yun Family members, he found it strange that this burly man approached him with such enthusiasm. Could it be that this person knew their little rascal?
Yun Fan felt puzzled; he didn’t recognize this strong man at all, yet he displayed such familiarity.
The burly man grinned widely and said, "Yun Fan! My name is Zhou Da Cong. I witnessed you defeat the guards at Tian Jiao Inn and felt a surge of admiration. I wonder if I could follow you on your adventures?"
After finishing his words, he immediately knelt on one knee, clasped his hands in a salute, and proclaimed loudly, "Having drifted for half my life without meeting a true leader, if you don’t mind, I wish to call you Brother!"
In an instant, he knocked his head three times against the ground with a loud thud before standing up again, wearing an honest expression on his face.
His swift movements left everyone from the Yun Family feeling bewildered.
Yun Fan's face darkened further; wasn’t that my line? How did it come out of this kid’s mouth?
Looking at the figure before him, Zhou Da Cong, with his mouth slightly agape, he didn't know what to say but felt an overwhelming sense of vigilance inside. Yun Hai furrowed his brows and turned to Yun Fan, asking, "Do you know this person?"
Yun Fan shook his head, indicating he did not recognize him. "I don't know him. Why did this kid come over and start calling me 'big brother'?" Yun Hai was filled with confusion.
Yun Fan was equally baffled. Who knew why this kid rushed over to call him 'big brother' and even bowed three times in public, leaving him somewhat dazed.
Zhou Da Cong stepped forward with a grin and said, "Everyone, please don't misunderstand. This is my first time meeting Yun Fan."
He continued, "The first time we met was at Tian Jiao Inn. I witnessed Yun Fan's incredible strength when he defeated the guards, and I was deeply impressed by his power. I have already made up my mind to follow him from now on."
The members of the Yun Family were taken aback by his words. Could it be that the one who broke through Tian Jiao Inn was indeed their own Yun Fan? Looking at the smiling Yun Fan beside them, they still found it hard to believe.
After all, while Yun Fan's talent was indeed remarkable, it was hard to fathom that he could achieve such terrifying strength in just a few months, reaching the Peak of True Essence Realm. Such claims sounded almost fantastical.
Seeing that the others were skeptical, Yun Fan chose not to explain further. He immediately led several members of the Yun Family toward Tian Jiao Inn.
Upon arriving outside the inn, a guard respectfully bowed and greeted them, saying, "Welcome, young master!"
Hearing this, the members of the Yun Family slowly emerged from their shock and began to accept this reality.
