No wonder the Treasure Pavilion continues to grow stronger; their service attitude is truly satisfying. Just as I was about to speak and exchange all the Monster Materials in my storage bag for spirit stones, a mocking voice rang out.
"Oh, look who it is! The infamous Yun Fan! Aren't you ashamed to show your face at the Treasure Pavilion? Don't you worry about embarrassing the Yun Family?"
Upon hearing this, Yun Fan's expression hardened, and he turned to look at the source of the voice. There stood a young man in a yellow robe, his cheeks gaunt and his eyes sunken, giving him a rather hollow appearance. Surrounded by several guards, he approached with a sneer.
From my memory, I recognized him as Wu Wang, the youngest son of the Wu Family, one of the Four Great Families. He had once pursued Liu Ru Yan alongside Yun Fan, leading to numerous conflicts between them. However, Liu Ru Yan seemed to favor Yun Fan more, leaving Wu Wang feeling like a mere backup. This had bred resentment between them.
Yun Fan's gaze remained calm as he smiled coldly. "Oh, it's Young Master Wu Wang. Shouldn't you be busy being a real man instead of barking like a dog here?"
Wu Wang's face flushed with anger, his body trembling uncontrollably. His indulgence in pleasure had led to his downfall, rendering him incapable of fulfilling his manly duties. Being publicly called out by Yun Fan left him utterly humiliated, his eyes blazing with fury.
"How dare you, Yun Fan! Even if I’m not capable, it’s still better than the filthy things you do!"
Yun Fan chuckled lightly. "At least I have the qualifications to engage in such matters. Unlike you, who can’t even partake in anything vile and can only watch from the sidelines."
Wu Wang's rage boiled over as he ground his teeth in fury, his body shaking with indignation. "Someone! Make sure to shut that mouth of his!"
The guards around him hesitated for a moment before one of them slowly spoke up.
"My lord, we are currently at the Treasure Pavilion. We cannot act recklessly; those who defy the orders will face severe consequences, and even the head of the family cannot protect us," one of the attendants cautioned.
Upon hearing this, Wu Wang's anger slowly subsided, but his eyes were filled with malice as he glared fiercely at Yun Fan. "Yun Fan, just wait. I’ll make you regret this later," he coldly declared.
Yun Fan merely smiled, revealing a grin. "Alright then, a true man in three seconds."
The crowd around them burst into laughter, covering their mouths as they chuckled at the exchange.
Wu Wang, who had just prepared to leave, felt his face turn ashen upon hearing their mocking laughter. His mind buzzed with rage, and he stumbled slightly, nearly losing his composure from anger.
Filled with murderous intent, Wu Wang wanted to unleash a torrent of insults but ultimately held back. Once we are outside the Treasure Pavilion, I will make Yun Fan pay dearly for this.
With that thought in mind, he led several of his guards toward the exit.
