Ling Xue carefully plotted how to orchestrate a meeting with the Fatty. She knew that he usually spent his time in dorms or internet cafes, which indeed added to her challenges.
After much contemplation, Ling Xue finally devised a plan. She decided to buy a phone and register on a Dating App. Initially, she wouldn’t post anything but would take some beautiful selfies and short videos of her daily life. Then, she would transform into Ling Yu and seek out the Fatty.
Ling Yu walked into the dormitory and saw the Fatty sitting at his desk, engrossed in a game. She approached him, tapped his shoulder, and smiled, "Hey, Fatty! How have you been? Any luck with finding a girlfriend?"
The Fatty shook his head helplessly and replied, "It’s not that easy. I don’t even know where to start."
Ling Yu smiled mysteriously and said, "Hey, I have a solution! There are plenty of Dating Apps out there; you should give them a try."
The Fatty hesitated for a moment and asked, "Are they reliable? I’ve never tried anything like that before."
Ling Yu patted her chest confidently and assured him, "Don’t worry! I’ll help you register; you’ll definitely find someone suitable." The Fatty nodded, still somewhat skeptical.
Ling Yu took the Fatty's phone and began to help him set up the Dating App. Once registered, she added some friends for him and included her disguised account as well.
"There you go! Now just wait for beautiful girls to message you," Ling Yu said.
The Fatty remained unconvinced and asked, "Can this really work? I’m not expecting too much."
Ling Yu encouraged him, "Don’t worry! Your fate might be just around the corner." Meanwhile, Ling Xue was preparing to meet the Fatty under her alternate identity.
Ling Yu watched as the Fatty changed his nickname to his real name, Sun Ruizhe, and teased him, "Wow, how sincere of you!"
The Fatty replied seriously, "Of course! When making friends, sincerity is key; otherwise, how can you find someone genuine?" After saying this, he excitedly browsed through the profiles of girls on the Dating App, muttering to himself, "This one’s not bad; she’s really pretty. That one looks nice too; she seems very gentle."
Ling Yu shook her head in exasperation at his lovestruck expression and said, "Just don’t focus solely on appearances; you need to get to know them better."
Without looking up from his phone, the Fatty replied, "I know! I’m just having a look for now." At that moment, Ling Xue took out her newly bought phone and completed her disguised account. She thought to herself: Cast a wide net and focus on catching fish; this time I must successfully complete my mission.
After a while, the Fatty suddenly looked up at Ling Yu and asked, "How should I greet these girls?"
Ling Yu pondered for a moment before saying, "Just introduce yourself simply; don’t exaggerate."
The Fatty scratched his head nervously and said, "I’m feeling a bit anxious. What if they ignore me?"
Ling Yu encouraged him again: "Don’t be afraid! Be bold in your attempts; you might just get a response."
After seeing Ling Xue's beautiful photos, the Fatty was overwhelmed with excitement and quickly messaged her: "Beautiful girl! Your photos are stunning! I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot getting to know someone as gorgeous as you."
Ling Xue read the message and sighed softly. She understood that her current task was to let the Fatty experience beauty in this romantic endeavor. She replied: "You sure know how to flatter."
The Fatty seized the opportunity: "Really! I’m not exaggerating at all. Not only are you beautiful; your aura is special too. What do you usually like to do?"
Ling Xue thought for a moment before replying: "I enjoy reading books, listening to music, and occasionally going shopping."
The Fatty exclaimed excitedly: "Wow! You have great taste! I also love music. What type do you like best?"
Ling Xue patiently responded: "I dabble in various genres but prefer something more lyrical." At that moment, Ling Xue thought: Although this mission feels a bit strange, since I've agreed to it, I’ll do my best to leave him with beautiful memories. I hope he can truly find his own happiness in the future.
