Ling Xue took a deep breath, her eyes shining with determination. She announced to the group, "Sisters, we must rescue these people. They have endured too much suffering; we cannot let them fall into the hands of evil again." The women who followed her nodded in agreement, their eyes igniting with the flame of hope.
One of the women spoke up, "My lady, we will follow your lead. Please guide us out of this terrifying place."
Ling Xue nodded gently and led them cautiously onward. They moved slowly through the darkness, each step filled with vigilance. Eventually, they found themselves at a large cargo dock at the port. The area was eerily quiet, devoid of any presence.
A surge of hope filled Ling Xue's heart as she realized this might be their chance to escape. She whispered, "Everyone be careful; we are moving towards the exit. Stay quiet and avoid drawing any attention."
The group followed Ling Xue closely, their steps light and cautious. They felt both anxious and hopeful, a mix of trepidation and anticipation for the unknown future ahead. They all believed that as long as they followed Ling Xue, freedom was within reach.
As they moved slowly toward the port exit under Ling Xue's guidance, tension mingled with hope in their hearts. At that moment, several women softly called out, "My lady, we are all following you."
Soon after, more voices joined in, "My lady, you must take us with you!"
The repeated calls of "my lady" echoed in the still air, weighing heavily on Ling Xue's shoulders with a sense of responsibility.
She turned slightly to face the expectant faces around her and replied firmly, "Do not worry; we will surely escape."
Her gaze radiated courage and determination like a bright light illuminating their path forward. Under Ling Xue's leadership, they advanced more cautiously toward the exit, each step fueled by their yearning for freedom.
Just as they reached the port area, a series of gunshots suddenly shattered the silence. The woman at the front fell to the ground with a thud, blood instantly staining the floor. The group froze in terror upon realizing that a crowd had surrounded the port exit.
Ling Xue's heart tightened as she quickly activated her skill, Mihun.
Her eyes sharpened as her mental energy surged toward a few henchmen near the exit. Their expressions turned vacant as they mechanically raised their guns and shot at their own comrades without hesitation.
Gunfire erupted again amidst chaos in the encircled area.
Meanwhile, Ling Xue's women began to retaliate with their own weapons; however, it was clear they were inexperienced with guns. Some trembled nervously and missed their targets entirely; bullets flew aimlessly into the air.
One woman’s face was etched with fear as she gripped her gun tightly but was too anxious to aim properly. Gritting her teeth, she pulled the trigger but had no idea where her bullet went.
Another woman closed her eyes and fired wildly; the shots echoed through the air but failed to inflict any harm on the enemy.
