After Ling Na and Qu Quan left the bar, they arrived at a nearby quiet café. Ling Na swayed gracefully ahead, while Qu Quan's gaze followed her closely, revealing a hint of anticipation and excitement in his eyes. Ling Na chose a seat by the window, where the soft light illuminated her face, enhancing her allure. She tilted her head slightly to look at Qu Quan, a charming smile playing on her lips.
"It's so quiet here; we can finally have a good chat," Ling Na said softly. Qu Quan sat down across from her, his eyes burning with interest as he looked at her.
"Yes, it's really nice here." Ling Na began to skillfully steer the conversation. Leaning slightly forward, she asked in a low voice, "You must work really hard, right? Have you thought about finding a way to relax?"
Qu Quan gazed at Ling Na's enchanting figure, feeling a stir within him. "Sometimes I think about it, but I don't really know how to unwind."
"There are plenty of things you can do, like watching movies, taking walks, or finding someone to talk to," Ling Na suggested, her eyes gently fixed on Qu Quan. He felt his heart race under her gaze.
"You're right," he replied. Meanwhile, in a nearby corner, Ling Xue was nervously tracking them. Wearing a hat and sunglasses to avoid drawing attention, she held a small camera in her hands, ready to capture key moments.
Ling Xue's heart raced; she felt both anxious and excited. She understood the importance of this mission and knew she had to expose Qu Quan's true nature. She focused intently on Ling Na and Qu Quan, not wanting to miss any of their actions or expressions. As Ling Na continued chatting with Qu Quan, she casually placed her hand on the table. Qu Quan's gaze fell on her hand while Ling Na pretended not to notice and kept talking. Then she gently brushed against Qu Quan's hand, causing him to flinch slightly.
"Why are you so nervous? I won't bite," Ling Na teased.
Qu Quan chuckled awkwardly. "No, I'm just not used to it." Leaning closer to his ear, Ling Na whispered, "Don't be so stiff; let's just chat like friends." Her breath lightly brushed against his cheek, igniting a flutter of excitement within him. Seeing this scene unfold made Ling Xue anxious; she hoped Ling Na would soon lead Qu Quan into revealing his true self so they could complete their mission. She adjusted her camera angle, ready to snap another shot.
Ling Na asked again, "Are you married? Your wife must be very beautiful."
Qu Quan hesitated for a moment before answering. "Yes, I'm married. She's... okay." Noticing his hesitation, Ling Na pressed on: "What's wrong? It sounds like you're not very satisfied with her."
Qu Quan fell silent for a while before responding, "It's not that I'm dissatisfied; sometimes it just feels like life is pretty dull."
Ling Na sighed softly. "Yeah, marriage can easily become monotonous. Have you thought about seeking some excitement?" A flicker of panic crossed Qu Quan's eyes.
"Excitement? What kind of excitement?"
Ling Na smiled subtly, her gaze filled with ambiguity. "You know, sometimes life needs something different."
Qu Quan's heart raced faster as he looked into Ling Na's enticing eyes; he felt himself wavering. Just then, Ling Na suddenly reached out and gently took his hand. Startled, Qu Quan instinctively tried to pull away but found that she held on tightly.
"Don't be nervous; I just think you're very charming," Ling Na said softly.
Qu Quan struggled with his rationality as he found it hard to resist Ling Na's allure. Just when he was on the brink of losing control, she unexpectedly released his hand.
"Oh dear, did I come on too strong? Sorry about that," she feigned shyness.
Qu Quan chuckled awkwardly again. "It's okay; you're very charming."
Seeing that Qu Quan was already somewhat swayed, Ling Na decided to intensify her approach. She stood up and leaned gently against his shoulder.
"You know what? I haven't met someone as charming as you in a long time," she whispered. Qu Quan stiffened momentarily; he didn't know how to react. At that moment, Ling Xue saw the perfect opportunity and quickly pressed the shutter button on her camera to capture the scene.
Ling Na sensed that part of their mission had been accomplished; she gently pulled away from Qu Quan's shoulder and returned to her seat.
