Ling Xue tentatively asked, "How did you end up here?"
Ling Na's body trembled as if struck by an electric current, her eyes gradually reddening, filled with tears that seemed ready to spill over at any moment. With a choked voice, she slowly replied, "I... I was deceived by my boyfriend. He used my nude photos to take out a loan and then ran away. I had no choice; the debt kept increasing, and they forced me to come here."
Ling Xue's heart tightened painfully, as if gripped by an invisible hand. Instinctively, she held Ling Na's hand tightly, her voice filled with compassion. "That must have been so painful for you. How could they do this?"
Ling Na could no longer hold back; tears streamed down her cheeks, falling like rain. She sobbed, "I was so foolish back then, thinking he truly loved me. I never imagined he would treat me like this. Now I have nothing left and can only be at their mercy here."
Gently patting Ling Na's back in an attempt to comfort her, Ling Xue said, "Don't be sad. We will find a way to escape from here. Have you thought about calling the police?"
Ling Na shook her head in despair, her face filled with helplessness and fear. "It's useless. They have power; reporting it won't lead to anything. Besides, they still have my nude photos. If I report them, they'll release the pictures, and I'll be finished."
Frowning in anger and helplessness, Ling Xue bit her lip and silently vowed to ensure these villains received the punishment they deserved. "Are we just going to let them bully us? There must be a way out."
Ling Na wiped her tears, but her swollen eyes betrayed her sadness. "I don't know. I have lost all hope. Every day here is worse than death."
Ling Xue looked firmly at Ling Na, her gaze filled with undeniable determination. "Don't give up. We will think of a way together; we can find a way out. Do you know if there are others like us here? We can unite."
Ling Na thought for a moment, a flicker of emotion crossing her eyes. She slowly replied, "Yes, there are many. Everyone has been forced here for various reasons. But everyone is afraid and doesn't dare to resist."
Ling Xue nodded vigorously, hope igniting in her eyes. "We can't continue like this. We need to be brave and fight for our freedom. Will you join me?"
After hesitating for a moment, fear mingled with a hint of resolve inspired by Ling Xue's determination shone in Ling Na's eyes as she nodded slowly. "Okay, I'll join you. After all, I have nothing left to lose."
Just then, a notification sound suddenly echoed in Ling Xue's mind: the system indicated that the mission had been updated and that the host had obtained crucial evidence. Ling Xue was momentarily stunned before a wave of joy surged within her; she knew that her efforts during this time had finally paid off, bringing her one step closer to exposing this evil establishment and rescuing these suffering sisters.
