The Ferocious Skeleton Dharma Body dissipated, and the White Bone Prayer Beads in the Old Monk's hand fell to the ground. With this, it seemed that the matter had come to a close.
Zuo Ci waved his hand, and the Evil God Avatar beneath him vanished. Without any hesitation, he stepped forward to examine the corpse. This Old Guy should have quite a few interesting items.
Zuo Ci rummaged through the Old Monk's Black Kasaya, and his pupils constricted. The Black Kasaya was indeed a treasure. It appeared to be woven from the skin of a High Monk, likely from Yuanji, with countless Bone Jade pieces sewn onto it. The intricate patterns of these Bone Jades emitted a warm, jade-like glow, suggesting they were crafted from the bones of young girls or children.
Inside the Black Kasaya, there were pockets. Zuo Ci pulled out a Bone Flute inlaid with Agate Jade and a Chicken Blood Wood Box that exuded an unusual fragrance. The surface of the wooden box was adorned with an Auspicious Cloud Pattern, releasing a rich aroma.
Zuo Ci recognized this scent well; it was unmistakably the smell of Corpse Oil. He gently opened the wooden box. Inside were seven round pills as smooth as jade, pitch black in color with faint blood-red patterns on their glossy surfaces.
Zuo Ci smiled coldly; these were Rou Shidan from Vajrayana. The Vajrayana Lama would typically select flesh for the A Jie Drum, specifically Five Meats and Five Hearts.
According to Vajrayana scriptures, for the Dalai Lama’s longevity prayers, one would need four heads, ten sets of intestines, pure blood, impure blood, soil from ruins, widow's menstrual blood, leprosy patient blood, Five Meats, Five Hearts, water from Yin lands, whirlwind soil, and thorny plants from the north—along with dog feces, human feces, and butcher's boots. This was the ritual for Vajrayana's A Jie Drum ceremony.
The Five Meats consisted of beef, mutton, dog meat, horse meat, and human flesh. The Five Hearts included cow heart, goat heart, dog heart, horse heart, and human heart. The Five Sweet Dew were categorized into Great Nectar and Xiao Ganlu.
The essence, blood, and marrow derived from the human body were not only offered to the heavens but also consumed by the followers themselves, indulging in these filthy substances. The Flesh Evil Pill was an evil elixir derived from the blood and flesh of the A Jie Drum, made from a simple mixture of five types of meat, including human flesh. It contained the bones of a child born from incest, filled with blood and mustard seeds, and was crafted using human gallbladder, brain, blood, and internal organs.
This Flesh Evil Pill was touted by those Vajrayana Lamas as a heavenly gift, claiming it could grant immortality. In reality, it merely increased one's magical power but came with a plethora of side effects. If one’s cultivation was insufficient to withstand the grudge energy contained within the pill, they could even transform into a zombie. For some whose time was running out in their cultivation journey, it was indeed a miraculous remedy. However, for Zuo Ci, it held little value anymore; still, it could be traded for something else.
As Zuo Ci gazed at the sky beginning to lighten with dawn's first light, he dragged his weary body to the rooftop of the office. Dawn marked the time when the cycle of Heaven and Earth Yin Yang turned, and it was also when Yin Qi was at its densest.
Zuo Ci began to refine the Soul Gathering Banner. Using the Jiao Long Ni Gu for the pole and a Human Skin Robe for the banner surface, green flames flickered as he worked. He embedded a pigeon egg-sized Yinshan Blood Jade into the top of the Soul Gathering Banner and continuously refined rare Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures to enhance its power.
The Yin Qi of Heaven and Earth was drawn in by Zuo Ci to temper the Soul Gathering Banner. Before long...
A purple-black Lu Hun Fan fluttered in the wind. The Lu Hun Fan was shrouded in a thick black mist, within which countless restless souls, known as Xiong Ling, wandered.
When he forged the Lu Hun Fan, he had infused it with the souls of those he had killed, merging them all into the Hun Fan. He also inscribed two types of Shen Tong onto the Yinshan Stone: Zhang Zhong Feng Du and Zhan Xian Fei.
The Feng in his hand had the effect of sealing Ling Ti, while the Yinshan Stone amplified the power of spells. This meant that whenever Zuo Ci summoned the Lu Hun Fan, with his cultivation level, Fang Yuan's cultivation within a hundred meters would be subjected to varying degrees of restraint—the higher the cultivation, the weaker the restraining effect.
Moreover, when he cast Zhan Xian Fei, there was no longer that lengthy preparation time; it was almost instantaneous. However, the consumption of Ling Ti was quite alarming. After all, with increased power, reduced preparation time, and faster speed came a quicker drain on resources.
Fortunately, there were many fierce Ling Ti within his Lu Hun Fan, with even one capable of equaling hundreds of Xiong Ling. Currently, based on his estimates, he could only unleash the instant Zhan Xian Fei seven times before the Ling Ti within the Lu Hun Fan would be nearly exhausted. The quantity of Ling Ti was still somewhat tight!
