In the dead of night, the three led an elite squad quietly toward the abandoned mining area. The surroundings were desolate and dark; silence enveloped them except for occasional gusts of wind breaking through the night's stillness. The squad moved cautiously forward, observing their surroundings carefully to ensure they were not detected by enemies.
As they approached the center of the mining area, Chen Rui observed through night vision goggles that several fully armed guards were patrolling—this was clearly not an ordinary abandoned area but one of Phantom's strongholds. Chen Rui immediately signaled for his squad to conceal themselves and wait for further observation.
At that moment, a truck loaded with weapons quietly drove into the mining area and stopped in front of a warehouse. Several members of Phantom began unloading weapons; it appeared they were preparing for some large-scale operation.
