She did not understand why Qin Feng did not tell Qin Wan'er, and she did not dare to make decisions on her own. She simply said, "Hmm, this is your brother's friend; he is here to help us."
Only then did Qin Wan'er feel relieved. "So that's how it is. It seems my brother had already made arrangements. I knew it! He wouldn't just ignore me." A smile appeared on her face.
Hei Jiao listened to their conversation and shook his head slightly. He then turned his gaze toward Ning Guogong and Xian Guo Gong, his eyes cold as ice.
Ning Guogong and Xian Guo Gong could not help but take a step back; they felt an immense threat emanating from Hei Jiao. "Who are you? I advise you not to interfere in our affairs," Ning Guogong said with a frown.
Hei Jiao looked at him indifferently. "You can still leave now."
With a loud crash, the courtyard wall collapsed, and the Loyal and Brave Marquis stood up with a dark expression, slowly walking over. "What are you afraid of? We have four Divine Realm experts; do you really think we can't handle him?" The Loyal and Brave Marquis clearly harbored anger.
Wei Guo Gong also approached, sighing. "I came here on imperial orders; if I don't capture the person, I can't leave."
Ning Guogong and Xian Guo Gong exchanged glances; they truly could not leave now. Regardless of the situation, demons had appeared in the capital, and since they had encountered them, they could not turn a blind eye.
Ning Guogong scrutinized Hei Jiao closely but did not sense any demonic aura, which made him breathe a sigh of relief. "With your strength, you can tell that these two are demons, right? Are you going to help the demons?" Ning Guogong's tone was serious.
Hei Jiao glanced at him and replied coolly, "They are my subordinates."
Ning Guogong and the others were momentarily stunned; they realized they had to fight now. Hei Jiao scanned the group with a cold gaze. "Outside the city or here?"
"Of course outside the city," the Loyal and Brave Marquis snorted. "Do you dare?"
A glint of cold light flashed in Hei Jiao's eyes as he took a step forward and vanished into thin air.
"Those who don't come are cowards," he left behind a mocking echo in the air.
"Hmph, seeking death," the Loyal and Brave Marquis cursed angrily as he charged toward the city exit.
Ning Guogong and the three exchanged glances before looking at Qin Wan'er.
"Hmph, what's wrong? Are you all too scared?" Xiao Qing sneered.
The three of them understood that without dealing with the Black Dragon, they wouldn't be able to take Qin Wan'er away. They all flew up, heading toward the outskirts of the city.
Qi Shan was momentarily stunned, fear etched on his face as he looked at Xiao Qing. There was still a Great Demon King here!
Xiao Qing shot him a glare. "What are you staring at? If you keep looking, I might just gouge your eyes out! Hurry up and clean up these corpses!"
"Yes, yes!" Qi Shan quickly replied, scrambling to comply. As he worked, he silently cursed his father for being unreliable, leaving him to deal with this mess alone. Thankfully, he was in the Golden Core Realm; otherwise, moving so many corpses would have exhausted him.
Outside the city, atop a desolate mountain, the Black Dragon stood quietly at the peak, calmly observing the four who surrounded him.
"Go ahead, kill him!" the Loyal and Brave Marquis shouted, his momentum surging as his vital energy erupted like smoke rising into the air. He charged toward the Black Dragon.
The other three were slightly slower to react but also unleashed their full power. The clouds in the sky were pushed apart by their overwhelming aura, turning a deep crimson.
Feeling the immense pressure from all directions, the Black Dragon did not dare to underestimate them.
A low chant echoed as Ang Long's voice resonated. A massive Black Jiao Dragon stretched across the sky, its formidable presence causing the movements of the others to slow down significantly.
