"You'd better let me go, or my father will not spare you," the young man threatened.
Qin Feng, however, did not look at him. Instead, he gazed out of the inn. "If you don't come out soon, your friend will be dead."
Everyone was taken aback. Was there someone outside?
The young man also looked confused and turned to the outside. He didn't remember bringing anyone else along.
"Jin Shu, is that you?" he exclaimed in surprise.
He felt a wave of relief wash over him; he wouldn't die now. Jin Shu was a presence at the Yuan Shen Stage, always by his father's side.
With a sinister grin, he turned back to Qin Feng. "So, Qin Feng, your strength is impressive. I'll give you a chance: become my dog, and I will spare your life."
At that moment, a figure in a black robe entered the inn and stood beside the young man. "What are you doing here? Weren't you in Jinhua Prefecture?"
The young man pointed at Nie Xiaoqian. "Did my father not send me to capture her? I didn't expect her to sneak away here, so I followed her."
The figure in black frowned. They still hadn't captured this woman and glanced at the Blood Corpse on the ground.
His gaze shifted to Qin Feng, his expression growing serious as he noticed the Red Longsword floating beside him—Sha Qi.
"You have a way to control Sha Qi? Hand it over," the black-robed figure said coldly.
Qin Feng had been watching the black-robed man all along. Now he understood that the ones who attacked Qingshan Mansion were also from Zhenbei Wang's faction. It wasn't surprising; Zhenbei Wang's ambitions were evident.
Qin Feng smirked. "You want it? Come and take it."
The black-robed man's expression darkened, and an overwhelming aura emanated from him, pressing down on Qin Feng.
Instead of retreating, Qin Feng stepped forward to meet this pressure head-on.
Zhu Fang and the others were already pale with fear; although the pressure wasn't directed at them, even a hint of its residual force left them frozen in place.
Qin Feng remained calm, his powerful aura sweeping over them like a gentle breeze. The presence of someone at the Yuan Shen Stage was nothing extraordinary.
Now the black-robed man was unsettled, his face changing as he stared at Qin Feng in disbelief. "Impossible! Unless..."
He shook his head vigorously. How could someone so young possibly possess Yuan Shen Realm cultivation?
The young man stood there dumbfounded; he had felt that aura too and had been pressed down to the ground by it. How could Qin Feng remain so composed?
Suddenly, an incredible thought surged in his mind: perhaps Jin Shu might not be able to defeat Qin Feng after all. The man in the black robe harbored murderous intent towards Qin Feng; this person could not be left alive, as he seemed rather sinister.
Just as he was about to take action, Qin Feng suddenly smiled and pointed outside. "Your opponent should not be me, but that one out there."
"What?" The man in the black robe was taken aback for a moment, then his consciousness swept behind him. His expression changed dramatically as he turned around.
Outside the inn, on the street, a Black Giant Python had appeared out of nowhere. Its cold, serpent eyes fixated on the man in the black robe, flicking its tongue menacingly.
Suddenly, a shadow zipped past, and with a loud explosion, the person standing at the inn's entrance was obliterated.
At that moment, everyone could see the snake's tail swiftly retracting. The man in the black robe was instantly thrown into chaos. "Are you seeking death?" he shouted as he lunged forward, his entire being radiating an overwhelming aura.
In his hand appeared an object—palm-sized and square, glimmering with golden light. "Get back!" he bellowed, and the object flew from his grasp.
