"There's clearly nothing here!" Lin Han exclaimed in confusion, just as the Shattered Star Beast suddenly emitted a strong sense of desire.
"What’s wrong with you?" Lin Han asked helplessly, summoning the Shattered Star Beast. To his surprise, the creature ignored him entirely and dashed away from his shoulder, heading straight for the area where the energy had vanished.
"Be careful!" Lin Han shouted, but it was too late to stop it. In the next moment, the Shattered Star Beast's body expanded dramatically, and it opened its mouth wide to bite into the void.
"Lin Han, what’s wrong with that beast?" Qin Luoxi asked, concern evident in her voice.
"I don't know; maybe it discovered something," he replied just as a spatial vortex appeared where the Shattered Star Beast had bitten into the emptiness. Lin Han's heart raced with excitement as he realized there was a hidden spatial passage here!
Before he could take a closer look, the Shattered Star Beast leaped into the vortex without hesitation.
"Wait!" Lin Han called out in exasperation. What could possibly be so enticing that it made the creature act so recklessly? However, this place was filled with uncertainties, and he couldn't make decisions for others.
Turning to his companions, he said, "Everyone, we don’t know what’s inside. If you don’t want to go in, that’s fine."
The Shattered Star Beast was Lin Han's companion; of course, he would follow it in. As a Beast Master, his beast was his most trusted partner—he couldn't just abandon it in danger. Moreover, given the Shattered Star Beast's unusual behavior, it must have sensed something extraordinary.
"What are you talking about, Lin? We are a squad, and we should share both fortune and adversity. We're going in with you," said Qin Luoxi, the Vice Captain of Shen Long Squad, who had been standing beside Lin Han.
"That's right, Lin. You're the captain, and we all follow your lead," added Han Fei, stepping forward as well.
Fat Cat and Han Fei also expressed their agreement, and the others had no objections either. Only Zhou Qinghai felt a bit uneasy but didn’t dare to refuse. After all, there was no telling what other dangers lurked in this dungeon. It was better to stick with the squad than to stay behind alone.

As they moved deeper into the passage, they did not encounter any sign of the Broken Gold Beast. After about ten minutes, the surroundings brightened once more.
Lin Han's heart raced as he prepared for action at any moment. However, what unfolded before them left everyone stunned.
Not far away, the Broken Gold Beast was sitting in front of a pulsating heart, drooling over it. The heart was not large—only about the size of an adult's head—and its rhythm was slow.
"Don't tell me that's the heart of the giant turtle!" exclaimed Qian Yixuan, her mouth agape in disbelief.
