Three days had passed since the first semifinal match, and the battle between Qingfu Academy and Phoenix Academy was about to commence. This highly anticipated contest would determine another spot in the finals.
In Lin Han's room, Qin Yu, who should have been handling academy affairs at the Military Academy, had inexplicably arrived. What could be the reason for Qin Jiaoxu's visit? Was it merely to encourage him to lead his team to victory in the finals, or was there something else at play?
Lin Han observed this formidable figure, having long since figured out that the teachers from the Military Academy would not appear without a significant reason. Ah, it seemed that Captain Lin was quite astute; he felt a bit embarrassed by the situation.

Given the tense relations between both sides lately, the Military Department had been observing their activities in the Border forest area but found it difficult to take action. After all, distinguishing which parts were uninhabited and which belonged to the empire was no simple task.
Qin Yu paused for a moment before asking, "Do you understand what I mean?"
"You want me to enter the Border as a free agent and eliminate them?" Lin Han pondered. It would indeed be troublesome for a nation's Military Department to recklessly kill Professionals from another country.
"Exactly," Qin Yu confirmed. "But don’t think we’re just using you as a laborer. According to the Military Department, we recently acquired a Beast Egg."
Lin Han understood this situation all too well; he couldn’t shirk responsibility now that Qin Yu had personally come to him. This mission was now firmly on his shoulders.
"That’s right," Qin Yu continued. "With Qingfu Academy's competition drawing attention right now, it’s the perfect opportunity to discreetly deal with those pests."
Qin Yu was quite pleased with Lin Han's response; he had expected it might take some convincing to get this young man involved. However, Lin Han soon revealed his true nature: "Qin Jiaoxu, what can you tell me about that Beast Egg?"
"You brat!" Qin Yu patted his shoulder and could only explain, "The specifics weren't detailed by the Military Department, but it won't be of low rank, and it's a flying type Beast, which just happens to cover your shortcoming.
Don't worry, for our own people, the Military Department has never been stingy; they basically equip us with the best first."
Lin Han took his words with a grain of salt; after all, in his experience, the Military Department had never assigned him any good tasks. He just wanted to take advantage of his status as a free man to help out with various matters.
At that moment, Qin Yu looked at Lin Han and mentioned another matter, "Zhou Tong is missing; you should know about that, right?"
"Yes, Little Boss told me. It's a critical situation." Hearing this, Lin Han's expression grew heavy.
