Night falls, and a mysterious and ancient atmosphere pervades the streets of London. The worlds of vampires and humans intertwine at this moment, heralding an unprecedented blood feast.
Deep within the vampire castle, Edward, a noble vampire with deep eyes and elegant demeanor, engages in a profound conversation with his close friend and capable assistant, the young vampire hunter Jack.
Edward (gazing out the window, in a low voice): "Jack, what do you think of the moonlight tonight?"
Jack (puts down his sword and looks out the window): "Bright and mysterious, like the world of vampires."
Edward (smiling): "You're right. The world of vampires is both beautiful and dangerous. But tonight, we are about to face an unprecedented challenge."
Jack (frowning): "You mean the blood feast? I heard that this time it's bigger than any before."
Edward (nodding): "Yes, this is a feast that concerns the future destiny of the Vampire Family. We must proceed carefully to ensure everything goes smoothly."
Jack (pondering for a moment): "I understand. But have you ever thought about what such a feast means for humans?"
Edward (sighing): "I know what you're worried about. But in this world, the boundary between vampires and humans has long been blurred. We cannot change the past, but we can choose the future."
Jack (nodding): "You're right. I will do everything I can to protect those innocent humans."
Edward (patting Jack's shoulder): "I believe in you, Jack. We've always been the best partners."
Just as the two were talking, there came a hurried sound of footsteps from outside the castle. A young vampire maid rushed in, her face filled with tension and anxiety.
Maid (panting): "Edward, something terrible has happened! There are humans who have intruded into our territory!"
Edward (frowning): "What? How is that possible? Our territory is protected by a strong barrier. How could humans easily break in?"
Maid (trembling): "I don't know... but those humans seem to possess a mysterious power that can break through our barrier."
Jack (standing up): "We have to go and see."
Edward (nodding): "Alright, let's go together."
The two followed the maid and walked out of the castle's gate. The scene before them was shocking. The once peaceful vampire territory was now surrounded by a group of humans wielding weapons. These humans exuded a powerful aura, as if they possessed endless strength.
Edward (approaching calmly): "Who are you? Why have you trespassed into our territory?"
Leader of the humans (smirking): "We are here to find vampires. We heard there's a blood feast tonight, and we naturally wouldn't miss this opportunity."
Edward (frowning): "Do you understand the significance of the blood feast? This is a banquet that concerns the future destiny of our clan, not something you can casually interfere with."
Leader of the humans (disdainfully): "Hmph, the future of vampires? What does it have to do with us? We only know that vampires are the enemies of humans and must be destroyed."
Jack (gripping his sword tightly): "It seems we can't solve this with words."
Leader of the humans (wielding a weapon): "Then let's settle it with strength!"
With the leader's command, both sides engaged in fierce combat. Vampires, relying on their powerful strength and agility, fought to the death against humans. However, these humans seemed to possess a mysterious power that left the vampires struggling in battle.
Edward (fighting while observing): "These humans... their power seems to come from an ancient magic."
Jack (nodding): "I feel it too. This magic seems to enhance their strength while weakening our abilities."
Edward (pondering for a moment): "We must find a way to break this magic, or tonight's blood feast will be in jeopardy."
Jack (nodding): "I'll go search the ancient texts in the castle to see if there's any record of this kind of magic."
In the midst of the intense battle, Jack sneaked into the castle's library. After a thorough search, he finally found an ancient book about old magic. In this book, he found the method to break this mysterious power.
Jack (excitedly running back to the battlefield): "Edward! I've found a way to break the magic!"
Edward (fighting while turning back): "Quick, tell me! What method?"
Jack (shouting): "We need to find a water source called 'Fountain of Light' and sprinkle it on these humans to break their magic!"
Edward (eyes light up): "Fountain of Light? I know its location! Jack, you lead some of the vampires to get the water from the fountain, I'll stay here to buy us some time!"
Jack (nods): "Got it! Be careful!"
Under Jack's leadership, a group of vampires quickly head to the location of the Fountain of Light. Meanwhile, Edward relies on his exceptional strength to engage in a fierce battle with the human leader alone. After a thrilling confrontation, Edward finally succeeds in defeating the human leader.
At this moment, Jack returned to the battlefield with the vampires. They sprinkled the water from the Fountain of Light onto the humans who had been enhanced by magic. As the water fell, the humans' powers gradually dissipated, eventually returning to normal.
Edward (sighing in relief): "It's finally over."
Jack (nodding): "Yes, thanks to your wisdom and courage."
The leading human (falling to the ground): "We lost... but one day, we will come back again."
Edward (coldly): "You are always welcome. But next time, we won't give you any chance."
With the fall of the leading human, this intense battle finally came to an end. The vampires once again guarded their territory and the secret of the blood feast. And Edward and Jack, because of this battle, became even more firm in their beliefs and friendship.
In The Prelude to the Blood Feast, they not only successfully defended their homeland, but also gained valuable experience and wisdom. They knew that the road ahead was still long, but they had the confidence to face all challenges and difficulties. Because they believed that as long as they were united and moved forward bravely, nothing could stop their progress.
