At that moment, the Soul-Eating Black Wolves were filled with terror in their eyes. With the Wolf King slain, their fighting spirit had long since dissipated. They immediately began to scatter and flee.
The members of the Dragon Tooth Squad regrouped once more. Based on their points, they could now exchange the number of beasts they had killed for points. Although the points they had earned were not enough to significantly widen the gap between them and the Zhou Tong Squad, it was at least enough to stabilize their ranking for now.
Chen Huan'er held a simple laptop, her face alight with excitement. "Captain, should we continue deeper into Line Three? We still have plenty of time."
Qian Yixuan spoke up, noting that their encounter with the Soul Devouring Wolf Pack had surprisingly left them with a good amount of time remaining.
Before Lin Han could respond, he received a group message from the participating teams of the academy:
"Attention all captains! We are in Jingji Forest; there has been an incident!"
Hearing such an urgent message, Lin Han's expression turned puzzled. He took out the map showing the distribution of Border Beasts; Jingji Forest was only a short distance from Line Three.
Exchanging glances with his teammates, they quickly decided to set off. This group message was established by all participating teams to prevent anyone from encountering unforeseen circumstances without assistance. Moreover, to encourage everyone’s enthusiasm, any Battle Team that rescued someone during an emergency would receive a point of Reward from the academy.
Now that someone was calling for help, they naturally had to go and check it out.
"Lin Brother," Chen Huan'er cautioned, "the beasts in Jingji Forest are much stronger than those in Line Three, both in level and attributes. We need to prepare ourselves."
Chen Huan'er had already memorized the distribution of beasts around the Border area. There were not many extremely dangerous places, but Jingji Forest was one of them.
"Everyone, first stabilize your Status. Even if something unexpected happens, don’t put yourselves in danger!" Lin Han immediately instructed.
At this moment, they were riding their Beasts at high speed towards the outskirts of Jingji Forest. Due to their combat Status earlier, communication had been impossible; now, all they could hear on the communication line were the voices of other captains:
"What’s going on? What happened over there?"
"Where is everyone? We should meet up first!"
Moments later, the Dragon Tooth Squad arrived at the gathering point of the Battle Team, following the clues left by the others.
Here, many Beast Masters had already gathered in the open area. As soon as they saw Lin Han and his companions approaching, several of them stood up.
"Captain Lin!"
"Brother Lin Han!"

Before long, a girl was brought forward by a few Beast Masters. She looked disheveled, her face smeared with blood, and she was mumbling incoherently.
