In the Disordered Forest, Lin Han moved through the dense thicket, brushing aside a sprawling branch with a dismissive glance at a deformed creature lying nearby. His efficiency was remarkable; having spent only half a day in this strange forest, he had already slain a Disordered Beast. However, despite his progress, he could not find any traces left by Mie Tian Qi Lin.
The state of disorder, while it took a long time to fully assimilate, was not something to be delayed. Lin Han sighed inwardly, relieved to have finally discovered some viable paths through this bizarre and twisted forest.
With each step forward, he suddenly found himself on a patch of ground embedded within the Sky Dome. As he surveyed the horizon, his figure blended seamlessly with the surrounding trees. Moments later, he noticed an unusual splash of color on a silver-gray tree not far away; amidst the gray expanse, blood-red scales stood out starkly.
Lin Han hurried over and picked up the scales in his hand. The surface of these scales displayed silver-gray lines that spread across them, revealing that Mie Tian Qi Lin's status was not as dire as it seemed.
Meanwhile, a group led by Mu Qingchan was slowly making their way along a path. According to their energy readings, they needed to slay another Disordered Beast to ensure that the third route and its surrounding forest returned to normal thresholds.
As Mu Qingchan examined the data displayed on her computer, her brow furrowed. In the past few hours, they had only encountered one Disordered Beast; numerous beasts corrupted by Disorderly Power remained deep within the Disordered Forest.
The loss of order in the deeper parts of the forest was far more severe. If we venture closer, we might not even grasp the most basic rules anymore, Han Fei thought as he glanced at the data on his screen, letting out a resigned sigh. Furthermore, their communication with Lin Han had become intermittent; they could no longer predict which area he had reached.
At that moment, Qin Luoxi suddenly froze and stepped in front of the group, her short sword poised for action. As an assassin-type Beast Master, her heightened senses detected impending danger nearby.
A deep growl echoed from one side, startling everyone. The scent of blood wafted through the air as a chilling breeze brushed against their faces.
"Fall back!" Qin Luoxi shouted, raising her short sword defensively in front of her companions. Almost immediately after her warning, a surge of silver-gray flames erupted toward them.
With her short sword in hand, Qin Luoxi managed to block the torrent of flames; however, the sheer force pushed everyone back several steps. Just one skill had generated such overwhelming power.
In the next instant, a Disordered Beast covered in grotesque limbs and foliage appeared before them without hesitation and struck at Qin Luoxi with a powerful blow.
Boom!
A massive pit formed in the ground as it slammed down its hand, sending shockwaves that created an enormous crater filled with searing silver flames.
The blade of Qin Luoxi's sword gleamed sharply as she quickly retreated several steps to escape the combat zone.
"Mad Sea Water Ape! Zhai Xing Duo Ri!" Mu Qingchan called out urgently. Beside her, a slender monkey materialized instantly, gathering brilliant starlight between its hands and condensing it into a wave of light aimed at the ferocious Evil Beast.
