"Are you interested in bringing your team along with me?" Shi Er chuckled lightly, recalling the instructions the old man had given him earlier, which led to this decision.
Lin Han did not rush to respond. He first pulled out a map to confirm the location of the Disordered Forest. After some calculations regarding time, he deduced that their squad could participate in their first team competition after dealing with the fierce beasts.
Then, he voiced his concern: "But Senior, since we are participating alongside the Military Department, how will we calculate the number of fierce beasts we kill?"
"All of your data has already been recorded by specialists. Every fierce beast you kill during this period will be reflected in your records," Shi Er paused for a moment before continuing. "So there’s no need to worry about your scores being questioned; that possibility doesn’t exist."
"Then let’s go with you, Senior!" Lin Han immediately made his decision. The first round of the scoring competition was crucial, and mastering how to face these monsters as soon as possible would be advantageous for the competition.
Moments later, at the Great Square of the forward base, dozens of soldiers from the Military Department stood in a line, waiting for orders from their commander. The Dragon Tooth Squad and Hao Hai Squad stood beside them, also awaiting this operation.
As the Commander, Shi Er personally leading the mission to Disordered Forest was unexpected for everyone. However, considering that Lin Han and his peers were present, it made sense that this commander would need to pay attention to more details.
"The Disordered Forest is divided into several combat routes, each filled with threats. I don’t need to remind you of that; just be cautious," Shi Er said, pausing briefly before continuing: "The mission is to eliminate the fierce beasts in Disordered Forest that have lost their instinctual awareness and restore order to normal levels."
"For this operation, Squad Four will be responsible for one combat route while Dragon Tooth Squad and Hao Hai Squad will handle the third route."
After announcing the strategic deployment, Shi Er glanced back at his troops and smiled lightly. "Everyone, our junior colleagues are watching closely. Don’t let it be said that your performance is worse than those who aren’t even considered rookie Beast Masters!"
The Beast Masters from all three routes began to use the teleportation array to head towards Disordered Forest.
Beside Shi Er, Chang Zhou, serving as deputy commander, sighed and asked with a smirk, "Disordered Forest hasn’t been fully explored yet. Their current strength doesn’t warrant engagement in this level of border combat. Isn’t it a bit excessive?"
"This was instructed by the old man—to help them adapt more quickly to this combat rhythm," Shi Er chuckled softly before stepping into the teleportation array.
At the same time, Lin Han and his group appeared at the entrance of Disordered Forest. What greeted their eyes was a vast expanse of silvery-gray forest.
"Wow! What happened to this forest?" Xue Wushuang exclaimed in shock as he gazed at the bizarre and peculiar landscape before him.
