Moments later, they found themselves in a large office at Qingfu Academy. The Hao Hai Squad was responsible for investigating the recent disappearances at sea, and the other six members were already engaged in discussion within the office. Upon seeing Lin Han and the others enter, they clearly showed little regard for them.
Noticing her teammates' demeanor, Mu Qingchan slammed her large backpack onto the table and exclaimed, "What are you all doing? Are you not going to focus on your tasks and instead display your emotions for everyone to see?"
Though she was not particularly tall, her words struck like lightning, causing the members of the Hao Hai Squad to jump into action immediately. Lin Han and his companions exchanged wry smiles at this scene.
"Please take a seat; I have a video I need you to watch," Mu Qingchan said lightly, then turned her cold gaze toward her teammates. Instantly, one of the younger members hurriedly returned a smile and rushed to bring over a piece of equipment.
"Lin, why do I feel like she's even tougher than Wu Jiaoxi?" Xue Wushuang whispered in Lin Han's ear.
"Perhaps it's about execution," Lin Han replied with a shrug.
Quickly, a video appeared before the Dragon Tooth Squad. Several Beast Masters were joyfully floating on the sea with their Beasts. Due to part of the Dungeon being located at sea, Beast Masters often chose to drift on the water with their Beasts for extended periods.
"This is precisely why we are eager to investigate these matters," Mu Qingchan explained. "With the sea area being blocked off, many Beast Masters have started to express their dissatisfaction and frustration."
As she spoke, she pointed at the video and softly said, "Here it comes!"
Suddenly, a large patch of colored mist emerged on the surface of the water where those Beast Masters were located. A massive shadow appeared within it, waving its Unknown Tentacles as it swiftly engulfed them before disappearing beneath the waves.
According to Mu Qingchan, such occurrences had been happening frequently on the surface lately, with this mist appearing randomly without any fixed location or time.
The video was short and seemed coincidental. Mu Qingchan sighed as he spoke about this situation.
During this time, they had sent out several Beasts to search for the strange mist, but suspiciously, every time they deliberately sought it out, the mist would vanish without a trace. It was only when some Beast Masters were drifting at sea unintentionally that they would encounter this mist, only to subsequently disappear from the surface of the water along with it.
With just this information alone, it was impossible to determine what kind of developed Dungeon this might be. Lin Han expressed his doubts after watching the footage. This explanation was merely intended to reassure those who were unaware; if they were told that people vanished after being shrouded in that mist, it would likely cause widespread panic.
At that moment, Mu Qingchan was still fiddling with the tablet in his hand, casually responding to the question. "We have already established contact with the official personnel from the Sakura Empire, and they have also reported several missing persons."
Just then, a member of the Hao Hai Squad stood up and spoke. Instantly, the two squads and over a dozen Beast Masters fell silent; they had too little information to make any judgments.
