Before him, Chen Huan'er blinked her eyes and smiled at him.
Xue Wushuang was about to say something when he noticed a mechanical arm slowly extending from the side, gently resting on Chen Huan'er’s shoulder. Instantly, Xue Wushuang became alert, his eyes turning a fierce red as Bloodthirsty Frenzy activated.
"Be careful!" Chen Huan'er exclaimed.
Just as Xue Wushuang prepared to strike, Chen Huan'er suddenly blocked him. Despite his crimson gaze, he managed to retain some rationality. This might be the greatest benefit he gained from his experiences in the Silent Mountains Dungeon.
"You protect those mechanical monsters!" Xue Wushuang's voice was laced with Frenzy and hostility, but Chen Huan'er suddenly gasped.
In the next moment, Qin Luoxi appeared, and a sharp blade of cold light shot toward the mechanical creature behind Chen Huan'er.
"Brother Luo Xi, calm down! They are different from those outside!"
The sharp Cry Blood Soul Blade froze mid-air, revealing Qin Luoxi's figure and the now thoroughly frightened robot displayed on the screen.
What was going on?
At that moment, Xue Wushuang realized he had been too reckless. He quickly rummaged through his space and pulled out a bag of blood plasma, gulping down two mouthfuls. The red hue in his eyes faded, and he looked at Chen Huan'er with confusion.
"Willy is different from those Mechanical Lifeforms outside," Chen Huan'er said earnestly.
"What’s the difference? It’s just data created by the Dungeon. If the Dungeon resets next time, it might come back to life," Xue Wushuang retorted.
"No, it saved my life and Sister Qingqing's."
As she spoke, Chen Huan'er hurried over to the half-human tall Mechanical Lifeform that resembled a television set. She gently patted its malfunctioning display screen, causing it to flicker.
A smiley face emoji appeared on the screen.
Then, the previously collapsed robot slowly retracted its drooping mechanical arm and glided over to stand before Xue Wushuang and Qin Luoxi, producing a somewhat stuttering and garbled voice.
"Turn right, then jump down. Is that what you said to me?"
As soon as Xue Wushuang heard this, he sprang up, rolling up his sleeves and instinctively preparing to throw a punch. However, he was stopped by Chen Huan'er.
Qin Luoxi, on the other hand, ignored the dim-witted Xue Wushuang and frowned at Chen Huan'er, asking, "You said it saved you and Zhou Qingqing. Where is Zhou Qingqing now?"
Only then did Chen Huan'er look back at Qin Luoxi and reply, "She's inside. Sister Qingqing is injured quite badly; we need Fat Cat Brother to heal her."
Mentioning Zhou Qingqing made Chen Huan'er's expression darken slightly. Qin Luoxi sensed the heaviness and sadness in her heart at that moment and coldly said, "Take us there."
"You two stop messing around. If you keep it up, I'll break you apart!" The first part was directed at Chen Huan'er, while the latter was aimed at the two who were wrestling together—one a machine and the other a person.
Chen Huan'er led Qin Luoxi and Xue Wushuang into the cave behind them. However, what lay beyond was a hidden world filled with large, unknown crystals shimmering with vibrant colors.
