"Wait, why do we need to go to the lower levels?"
"Think about it. All the Mineral Rock Lizards here have been killed, and it will be a long time before the Dungeon respawns. Besides, Wu Jiaoxi's requirement is for all of us to reach Level Ten. Clearly, this place can't meet our leveling needs, so we need to check out the deeper levels."
Han Fei hesitated; the environment here was not suitable for her as a Fire-type Beast Master. Lin Han, on the other hand, had no issues with it. The Dark Black Tortoise, being both Water and Rock type, was perfectly suited for this area.
"Don't worry, as long as we have the Dark Black Tortoise with us, we won't have any problems. Just focus on leveling up," Lin Han said, playfully patting the shell of the Dark Black Tortoise.
"I don't need your help; I can manage on my own," Han Fei tried to sound calm, but it was clear that she lacked confidence.
Meanwhile, in the Hao Shi Mao Lin.
"Ling Ya! Feng Ya!"
Chen Huan'er called out softly, crouched behind a dead tree stump, looking somewhat disheveled.
Ling Ya immediately flapped her feathers from high above, creating a Wind Field that began to converge at its center. Countless Illusion Bees flying in midair were caught in it, colliding with each other in a chaotic flurry.
Chen Huan'er’s expression brightened; soon enough, the Illusion Bees began to adapt to the Wind Field and moved swiftly again.
They scanned their surroundings but noticed not a single sign of life.
After a moment of circling around, they resumed their tasks.
"Another failure," Chen Huan'er said with a downcast face.
She plopped down onto the dead wood beneath her and removed her hood, revealing a dusty face.
At this point, not only was gathering Illusion Honey out of the question, but even catching a single Illusion Bee felt nearly impossible. During this time, she had thought of many strategies, but when it came to the speed and sheer number of Illusion Bees, there was simply nothing she could do.
Chen Huan'er wore a gloomy expression as she clutched the Blood-Red Cross Pendant hanging from her chest, its luster dimming slightly. It was her first attempt to confront the swarm of bees directly, and thankfully, she had the Bloodstained Cross; otherwise, the outcome could have been disastrous.
Later, she tried to communicate with the swarm, but it became clear that the intelligence of these creatures was far too low to support any form of interaction. After experiencing several chaotic encounters with the bees, Chen Huan'er learned from her mistakes, especially since she carried a special item bestowed upon her by her family.
The Unnoticeable Hood was quite simple in its effect; as long as she didn't take direct action herself, it was difficult for others to detect her presence. Through repeated trials, Chen Huan'er was pleasantly surprised to discover that although these Illusion Bees were fast, their intelligence was surprisingly lacking.
Ling Ya only needed to attack and then dive into the clouds; after that, the circular swarm would continue their tasks without concern for their original target. If this continued, she feared she would become a burden to the team.
After feeling dejected for a while, Chen Huan'er encouraged herself, clenched her fists, stood up, and adjusted her Hood once more, preparing to try again. Just then, Ling Ya in mid-air seemed to sense something and let out a long cry.
Chen Huan'er furrowed her brows as she felt Ling Ya's emotions and quickly called out, "Lingmu." Her pupils focused sharply; her originally dark eyes gradually became keen as her vision synchronized with Ling Ya's.
In Ling Ya's perspective, Chen Huan'er’s eyes brightened. Although those Illusion Bees were still fast, they were no longer difficult to identify. Under the influence of Lingmu’s vision, it felt as if Chen Huan'er had found inspiration.
