As Wu Qinghong's words fell, the expressions of the Dragon Tooth Squad members shifted in various ways. The most excited were naturally Zhou Qingqing and Chen Huan'er. One was a fallen noble's daughter, while the other was the beloved daughter of the current family head. The honors bestowed by the Empire Military Department were genuine benefits.
In contrast, Lin Han and Qin Luoxi appeared much calmer, while Han Fei maintained a neutral expression, exuding an air of detachment. As for Xue Wushuang, her thoughts were far from the matter of accolades.
"Wu Jiaoxi, when can we start training?" Little Fatty's question caught everyone off guard. Han Fei frowned at him, while Xue Wushuang continued to stare intently at Wu Qinghong.
Wu Qinghong narrowed his eyes slightly and replied to Xue Wushuang, "You just returned from the battlefield; do you really want to start training so soon? I made a promise to the academy that you must not overexert yourselves."
"Instructor, I don’t want to hold the team back. I want to become stronger. During the Wu City mission, I felt utterly useless compared to the captain and vice-captain. I don’t want to experience that feeling again," Xue Wushuang declared firmly.
Hearing her resolute words, a sense of melancholy flashed in the eyes of the others present, including Han Fei. "Fat Cat Brother is right; we don’t want to drag down the captain and vice-captain," he said.
Chen Huan'er bit her lip, her pretty face filled with guilt. Zhou Qingqing nodded, her gaze reflecting some inner struggle.
Looking at the members of Dragon Tooth Squad, Wu Qinghong sighed lightly and spoke in a calm tone. "It seems that bringing you along for this rescue mission was indeed the right choice. You have recognized your own weaknesses, which has ignited your desire to grow stronger. From now on, I will tailor training programs for each of you."
Before proceeding, he added with a serious tone, "I must make it clear: if anyone wishes to withdraw before training begins, I won’t interfere. However, once training starts, if even one person gives up, everyone will be held back!"
Wu Qinghong said this with a smile directed at Lin Han. Lin Han frowned but remained silent.
Qin Luoxi’s calm voice broke through the tension. "I have no objections!"
Soon after, Xue Wushuang and the others also expressed their agreement without hesitation.
Lin Han felt a stirring in his heart and nodded solemnly to Wu Qinghong.
"Please take care, Instructor. The Dragon Tooth Squad is ready."
At that moment, Xue Wushuang was filled with energy and determination.
The training began.
However, the enthusiasm and resolve on Xue Wushuang's face were soon replaced by a pallor of despair. He looked helplessly at the familiar iron ring on his wrist, realizing that the weight he carried had increased from five to eight burdens.
Countless different attacks came rushing at him from all sides, and Xue Wushuang struggled to dodge them.
Not far in front of him, Zhou Qingqing's voice rang out.

Zhou Qingqing stood not far away in her training outfit, also burdened with eight weighted sandbags, waving at him encouragingly.

"Chen Huan'er, come with me. The rest of you stay on standby."
Chen Huan'er stepped out of the crowd with some trepidation as Wu Qinghong entered the Dungeon first. She hurriedly followed him inside.
The surroundings transformed as they were transported to a lush forest. Just as Chen Huan'er was observing her surroundings, Wu Qinghong's voice broke the silence.
"Hao Shi Mao Lin, Level Resource Dungeon."
