Gazing at the towering palace that seemed to pierce the clouds, Lin Han took a deep breath. He glanced back at the others, his expression serious.
"The Youming Ghost General is most likely inside. Everyone, be cautious."
At the entrance of the palace, a small gap had been opened, and even from ten miles away, they could clearly sense the chilling and dark aura emanating from within.
Throughout their journey, they had not encountered any groups of Youming Purple Foxes, which likely meant they had all been drawn to the training grounds instead.

Additionally, the mysterious fog in the Abandoned Capital had inexplicably dispersed, making their passage unusually smooth.
"Be careful; there are fully armed Youming Purple Foxes guarding the perimeter of the palace. Initial estimates suggest their level is around that of a high rank," she warned.
Qin Luoxi emerged from the shadows and informed everyone of her findings near the palace.
"How many Youming Purple Foxes are there?" Lin Han asked, frowning.
"Thirty-four," Qin Luoxi replied succinctly. "Thirty-four high-level Youming Purple Foxes is already a considerable force. If we engage them in battle, we might exhaust ourselves before even encountering the Youming Ghost General."
"It seems the Youming Ghost General is aware of our intentions and has set up such an elaborate trap around the palace," Lin Han speculated. The intelligence of this entity was evidently far superior to that of the mindless Youming Purple Foxes.
"Then we should carve out a bloody path and strike at their heart!" Xue Wushuang declared confidently, clenching his fists.
"No, we are at an absolute disadvantage in numbers; we cannot afford to act recklessly and alert them," Zhou Qingqing decisively countered Xue Wushuang's suggestion.
"There’s a defensive blind spot in a secluded area of the palace; perhaps we can enter from there," Qin Luoxi noted. She had discovered this flaw while scouting for information, and it might be crucial for their plan.
"It seems we have no other choice," Lu Sheng nodded in agreement before turning his gaze to Lin Han. He was seeking their leader's opinion on the matter.
They decided to sneak in through the blind spot of the Youming Purple Fox. "Remember, unless absolutely necessary, do not make a move," warned Qin Luoxi.
After laying down the precautions, everyone began to suppress their own presence, ensuring that the Youming Purple Fox would not detect any signs of their approach. The defensive forces surrounding the palace were indeed as impenetrable as Qin Luoxi had described; these Youming Purple Foxes lacked intelligence and were clearly being manipulated by the Youming Ghost General from behind the scenes.
"This is it," Qin Luoxi said as they evaded the patrols of the Youming Purple Fox and arrived at a dark corner of the city wall.
There were no Youming Purple Foxes in sight here. If they could enter from this point, they would achieve their infiltration goal. However, the pressing question was how to get inside. Were they really expected to blast open the wall?
Chen Huan'er scratched her head in confusion. It was true; this wall was at least as tall as a building in Huid City, something rarely seen throughout ancient history.
