"This is quite unbelievable!" exclaimed Fat Cat.
Lin Han found it somewhat reasonable. After all, the three of them had arrived at the Military Academy together. Given his and Qin Luoxi's talents, even the senior sisters held a certain level of respect for them; it made sense for them to be assigned to the same dormitory.
In truth, Lin Han could guess what the senior sisters were thinking. They might be concerned that their previous exposure would upset the two of them, leading to potential trouble.
Of course, Lin Han never entertained such thoughts himself. He was always willing to cooperate with the academy's arrangements and didn't act in a domineering manner. As long as his interests weren't infringed upon, he generally wouldn't cause any disturbances. He had no interest in exploiting his privileged status.
Soon after, the three found their dormitory. Surprisingly, while the exterior of the Military Academy looked rather shabby, the interior dormitories were quite comfortable. Lin Han's room was a triple occupancy, with each person having their own bed and well-equipped facilities. At the very least, it was significantly better than his home in Su City.
The three didn't say much. Qin Luoxi expressed her desire to sit by the window, and neither of the others objected.
"Do you have any plans this afternoon? How about we grab a meal together and get to know each other?" Fat Cat suggested. Although he didn't have strong feelings for Qin Luoxi, he certainly didn't dislike her either.
Moreover! From now on, we will be brothers living under the same roof. Naturally, I want to liven up the atmosphere in our dormitory. If there's something going on, I won't participate.
Qin Luoxi's voice was quite flat. "We're all new at the Military Academy; what could you possibly have to do? It seems to me that you just think too highly of yourself and don't want to join us for dinner!"
This remark made Fat Cat a bit annoyed. Lin Han remained silent, but he could tell that the other party perhaps simply disliked gatherings like this, so he didn't say much.
"Hmph, do you think everyone is like you? Just lazing around all day without any ambition!" Qin Luoxi scoffed.
"You delicate little thing, can’t I say a few words to you? Well, it’s true; you never looked down on us anyway. Forget it, we’re just not from the same world." Fat Cat retorted sarcastically.
"Who are you calling delicate?!" This statement seemed to ignite Qin Luoxi's emotions instantly.
In that moment, Lin Han stood by watching the two argue and felt a bit of a headache. To be honest, ever since encountering Qin Luoxi outside the Military Academy, Fat Cat had been bickering with him almost every moment! If he didn't know better, one might really think these two had some deep-seated grudge against each other!
"Fat Cat, stop it. He might just have his own matters to attend to," Lin Han quickly stepped in to mediate.
"He doesn’t have any matters at all!"
At that moment, Fat Cat's temper flared up, completely ignoring Lin Han's attempts at reconciliation.
Suddenly, Qin Luoxi spoke up, "Do you know about the Abyss of Hell?"
"Abyss of Hell? Abyss of Hell?" Lin Han and Fat Cat exclaimed in unison.
However, while Fat Cat's words were filled with confusion about this place he had never heard of, Lin Han's reaction was quite different!
