The heavy aura of darkness enveloped the surroundings. Lin Han walked through the Shadow Forest, glancing around, feeling an uncomfortable sensation in the air. It was as if something unclean lurked nearby. The entire forest blocked out the sunlight completely; what should have been a bright noon felt more like dusk. Only a few faint rays of light managed to seep through the gaps in the trees.
