Su Ye and Ji Wei inexplicably chuckled, while Xian Kong glanced thoughtfully at Li Shang before falling silent.
Looking at the uniquely designed tri-colored villa, Tide's expression shifted slightly, and he turned his head away, finding it a bit hard to look at. "The King of Hell has good taste."
Yun Shijiu excitedly ran in, saying, "Right? This house was personally crafted by our Sister Three. It was so popular in the Little World that even the neighbors felt embarrassed and moved away."
Han Xi's face twitched as he covered his face, truly at a loss for words.
Yun Shijiu didn’t care; she boldly pushed the door open as if entering her own home.
The room had not changed at all. Even the spot on the floor where she and her second brother had fought and broken it into a small garden had been perfectly recreated by her sister.
In the living room hung a large group photo. Dressed simply in white, Yun Zhi Yue stood in the center with her arms draped over the shoulders of two boys on either side.
On the left was Yun Shijiu, stylishly dressed with earrings and a radiant smile. On the right was Yun Yue Shi, who bore a striking resemblance to Yun Zhi Yue, clearly siblings. However, his smile was faint, and he wore a clean, light-colored casual outfit that exuded elegance.
Yun Shijiu stood in front of the frame, her eyes reddening.
It was Han Xi's first time seeing Yun Yue Shi, whom Yun Shijiu often mentioned. Noticing her eyes glistening with tears, he was about to step forward to comfort her when he heard Yun Shijiu grit her teeth and say, "Second brother, just wait! When you come back, I’ll make sure to pluck you bald! How dare you cut off my tail?"
"Now I’m a Five-Clawed Golden Dragon; you can’t even break my scales. You’ve reached your limit in this position."
Han Xi shot her an exasperated glance while moving around the living room to admire the place where Sister Three had lived.
Seeing Yun Shijiu talking to herself about the photo, Su Ye sat down on the sofa and poured himself some tea out of curiosity. "Is Yun Yue Shi an incarnation of the Heavenly Emperor?"
Yun Shijiu immediately shook her head. "Not at all. He is another flower born alongside the Heavenly Emperor. When Yue Qi was born, their mother’s essence was absorbed, but there wasn’t enough spiritual power. Long Chang refused to help because of prophecies."
"This bastard swallowed Yue Shi to be born himself. Their mother infused half of her Original Species into Yue Shi before she died so that he could survive."
Ji Wei exclaimed in surprise, "You could say they are one entity or twins; being born together is extremely rare. This is the first time I've heard of it."
Yun Shijiu wore a gloomy expression. "Rare or not doesn’t matter; I don’t believe they are one person. The problem is where Yue Qi has gone. I’ve searched everywhere and can’t find him. He wouldn’t be hiding away to digest my sister’s Original Species, would he?"
"Letting my sister’s things go to the second brother is one thing; if Yue Qi swallows them too, that would be disgusting! Like a stubborn plaster sticking to my sister—what kind of nonsense is that?"
"Brother-in-law, you’re always off in your own world practicing diligently without stepping out of the door. If you keep this up, your wife will run away! What are you thinking? Hurry up and find Yue Qi; you need to take care of him soon!"
"After all, he was once someone my sister wholeheartedly loved. Aren’t you afraid they might rekindle old feelings? Isn’t that unsettling for you?"
Han Xi's expression changed as he stomped hard on Yun Shijiu's foot.
"What are you doing? Did I say something wrong?" Yun Shijiu retorted, his neck stiffening.
Han Xi felt a wave of frustration. Ever since this idiot had stepped into the Imperial Realm, he had become increasingly reckless. Although his romantic escapades had calmed down, his words and actions had lost all restraint.
Subconsciously, he touched his lower abdomen, wondering if this little one would inherit the same temperament as his father.
Li Shang, on the other hand, showed no signs of displeasure. "No need to worry about finding him; Yue Qi will come looking for Ben Jun after his breakthrough."
Yun Shijiu paused for a moment. "Are you planning to kill him when Yue Qi is at his most arrogant? Good grief, that’s not just irritating; it’s terrifying how you’ve silently kept such a grudge."
"My sister shouldn't have gotten entangled with you in the Little World. Otherwise, she could have ruled the world with a clear mind and enjoyed life with beauty by her side. Who knows how carefree and happy she could have been?"
