The words were enough to humiliate anyone, yet the man seemed completely unfazed. Holding the flower pot, he said, "Miss Yun, please don't be angry. I acted on impulse and never meant to offend you. I heard you were looking for help, so what do you think of me? I even brought you flowers!"
Yun Zhi Yue replied coldly, "Keep the flowers away from yourself. The comparison is simply unbearable. Hiring you would be a cruel joke on myself. Now get lost!"
The repeated humiliation in front of so many people clearly made him uncomfortable. He scanned the surroundings, his eyes glinting with insatiable greed. "Miss Yun, Captain Shen Shen has been disfigured too. You might as well consider someone else."
Yun Zhi Yue laughed in anger, "Don’t flatter yourself. In your next life, you should specialize in stepping on landmines. With your talent for triggering explosions, no one can compete with you. Congratulations on blowing one up precisely—goodbye!"
With a flick of her hand, a card floated from in front of the man into Yun Zhi Yue's grasp before dissolving into nothingness. Before he could react, black wooden boards appeared around him, sealing him off while everyone watched in horror as he was trapped inside a makeshift coffin.
At first, there were sounds of struggling and angry curses from within the box, but soon it compressed violently into a size no larger than a fist, letting out a piercing scream that nearly shattered everyone’s eardrums.
The wooden box shrank to the size of a child's toy and landed on the crescent-shaped bar counter as an ornament. As the crowd focused their attention, they realized there was more than one small black box on that shelf.
Noticing Shen Xingchuan leaning silently against the wall in his pajamas, Yun Zhi Yue shot him a glance before walking over and reaching into his robe.
Shen Xingchuan attempted to grab her arm, but Yun Zhi Yue glared at him fiercely and said, "If you touch me again, even a dog wouldn’t let you in."
His robe had no pockets; she knew the Crystal Core had to be hidden in his clothing. After searching for a while, she finally pulled it out.
When she revealed the brown crystal stone, Yun Zhi Yue smiled brightly and exclaimed, "A power-type! This is going to be so useful!"
Cang Jin rushed over upon seeing Sister Yun wave him over. "Sister Yun!" he called out.
Originally an egg-sized brown Crystal Core was now shrinking in her delicate palm, becoming more translucent and shifting from earthy brown to a lighter shade of brown.
Yun Zhi Yue pulled out a black wristband from somewhere and embedded the brown Crystal Core into it as if it were a watch face before putting it on Cang Jin's wrist.
She pointed at the nearby shelf filled with water bottles and instructed him, "Go see if you can lift it. If you can manage it, clear off the dust underneath."
Everyone gasped; did Yun Zhi Yue really mean what they thought she did? It seemed impossible—too fantastical!
Cang Jin was equally astonished; he knew his own strength well enough to realize he might actually be able to do it. He walked dazedly toward the shelf and barely exerted any effort as it effortlessly shifted position.
"Hiss! This is unbelievable!" someone couldn't help but exclaim.
That’s the Seven Levels Ability! After years of hard work, I’ve only just reached the Five Level. How can a little ghost like him have it?
A companion quickly covered his mouth and glanced at Yun Zhi Yue. Seeing her smiling face and that she wasn’t paying attention to their conversation, he finally relaxed.
A hand reached out towards Yun Zhi Yue.
Yun Zhi Yue shot a glance at it. "What do you want?"
"Hand it over, Ten Thousand Crystal Core," Shen Xingchuan said coolly.
Yun Zhi Yue scoffed, "Who took your Ten Thousand Crystal Core? What are you talking about?"
"Seven Levels for Ten Thousand. You set the rules yourself."
