Yun's Supermarket originally had five floors, but with Yun Zhi Yue wanting to cultivate a separate layer, an underground level was added, making it six. She still resided at the very top, in the exclusive Crystal Core experience chamber reserved for super members, which elevated her status even further.
The items on the fourth floor remained unchanged, but on the fifth floor, she created an endless rice field. Unfortunately, there were no rice plants—only vast stretches of brown earth. Within this month, she had accumulated enough Crystal Core to experience the warehouse and enhance her abilities. Having just witnessed the wonders on the underground level was shocking enough; stepping onto the fifth floor and gazing at the boundless fields left her utterly speechless.
In this field, there were no plants, only a girl standing in the middle with a small iron shovel, digging in the mud. Beside her lay a solitary Se Rose. For a moment, it felt as if they existed in different spaces; Yun Zhi Yue was utterly alone in her realm.
Suddenly, footsteps approached, and a few packets of seeds were thrust before Yun Zhi Yue. Looking at the various vegetable seeds while squatting down to dig in the soil, she paused for a moment and followed the hand to see Shen Xingchuan's lowered brows.
"Did you find these for me?"
Shen Xingchuan remained silent, glancing at the beautiful Rose. His fingers tightened around the crude vegetable seed packets as he prepared to withdraw his hand.
But before he could do so, Yun Zhi Yue grasped his hand tightly. "Shen Xingchuan, you found these seeds; you help me plant them. Digging holes is exhausting."
Shen Xingchuan scoffed. "Whether I help or not is up to me; I'm going to the experience chamber."
"If you don’t help me plant them, then you won’t go anywhere. I won’t let you."
His cold and strong hand easily broke free. He kicked his leg out, causing Yun Zhi Yue—who was squatting—to tumble directly into the dirt, staining her pristine skirt.
Without even glancing back at her, Shen Xingchuan snatched her small shovel and began digging holes to bury the seeds.
"Ah! I’ll kill you, Shen Xingchuan! My skirt is all dirty!"
Yun Zhi Yue scrambled up from the ground and charged at the tall man.
He continued digging without turning around, allowing her to pound on his back. When she grew tired of hitting him, she stopped moving and rested on his broad shoulder, feeling his warmth beneath her.
Many people watched with glimmering eyes; they weren’t fools and could easily see that their relationship was unusual. However, curiosity was not their priority at that moment; they were more focused on entering the experience chamber to strengthen themselves. Many had missed out last time but had heard about its effects and had started accumulating Crystal Core early on.
Shen Xingchuan’s team didn’t linger long either and headed upstairs first.
Gradually, only the two of them remained on the fifth floor.
Yun Zhi Yue leaned against Shen Xingchuan's back and whispered softly, "Even though I was the one who pushed you away first, why did you leave so decisively back then? What if I had my reasons?"
As his body flipped, Shen Xingchuan found himself pinned to the ground, his neck gripped tightly. He stared intently at the sweet girl with an innocent expression, tightening his grip for a brief moment before quickly releasing her. He tossed aside the small shovel and walked away without a word.
Yun Zhi Yue lay alone in the dirt, sighing to herself. "This is really difficult. What should I do if neither soft nor hard approaches work?"
During lunchtime, many people excitedly descended to the dining area, eagerly discussing the enhancements they had experienced in the training warehouse.
In fact, the battles they had fought before reaching the brink of death had been extraordinary displays of skill. Many realized their shortcomings in using their abilities. The frequent and proficient use of their abilities, combined with the energy support from the Crystal Core, made upgrades a natural outcome, significantly reducing the previous challenges they faced.
If such a place had existed since Level One, their time to level up could have been cut by at least half, if not more. The power of this Six Layers was evident, but the cost was prohibitively high.
The monthly fee was a thousand, and it cost a hundred Crystal Core per hour. Even if they only used it for one hour, they would still need a chunk of Crystal Core.
