Yun Zhi Yue never expected to be this unlucky.
Yun's Supermarket was actually the last manifestation of World Will's power, a contract between her and the world. With the world on the brink of collapse, World Will was so unstable that it couldn't control the manifestation of time. It was in a state of virtual connection, appearing solid before the builders but fading into nothingness when disconnected. After their last separation, she had spent an entire month in this disconnected state.
Being trapped alone in the supermarket was incredibly boring. Aside from bickering with the Reincarnation Stone, she had created an underground entertainment area on the negative first floor. The bar and arcade were fully equipped, but no matter how loud the music was, she was all alone and couldn't get into the groove.
Finally, when the supermarket stabilized again, she was overjoyed at the prospect of seeing Shen Chuan. However, upon opening the door, she found that the supermarket had turned into a Zombie nest. Not a single living person was in sight; instead, it was filled with countless Zombies. The excitement she felt quickly turned to disappointment, as if she had just eaten something disgusting.
The Key Moment was that these Zombies had a slight degree of intelligence. This nest not only contained low-level Zombies but also two high-level Seven Levels Zombies. Moreover, since Yun's Supermarket functioned as a store, it needed to be open for business; she couldn't prevent the Zombies from entering.
Zombies naturally fed on living beings, and there were plenty of live seafood in the market that they found quite delicious. They used their lower-level counterparts to exchange for consumption vouchers to buy these delicacies.
Yun Zhi Yue sat at the crescent-shaped bar, surrounded by high-level Zombies who understood her rules for entering—starting with low-level ones. They were all ragged and reeked of decay as they stared at her. The two Seven Levels Zombies were slightly better off but still carried a foul odor.
As soon as she entered, she was pounced upon. In Yun's Supermarket, she could still protect herself; although these Zombies couldn't physically touch her, they restricted her freedom. She found herself cornered behind the bar.
Perhaps having eaten their fill, two relatively intact Level Seven Zombies approached her. One of them, slightly shorter and stuttering, said, "Come out."
Yun Zhi Yue didn't move.
The Zombie waved its hand casually, causing ice crystals to collapse a nearby shelf. "Come out!"
"I really want to tear him apart!" she thought angrily. All her hard work had been ruined; it was infuriating.
The Reincarnation Stone chimed in gleefully: "You made a contract with World Will; you can't use your abilities at all. Otherwise, it would lead to an even worse collapse of World Will. What do you plan to use to tear him apart?"
"I'll tear him apart with my words."
Yun Zhi Yue took a deep breath, slammed her hands on the table, stood up, and prepared to unleash everything she had.
"You little chicken of a man, no wonder you turned into a Zombie. When you were human, you were the shortest in class, the ugliest in the grade, and the most unattractive in the entire school, right?
Are you even a meter tall? Have you surpassed a hundred pounds? Is there even a single muscle on your body? Is your lower body developing normally? Blah blah blah, saliva flying everywhere, completely lacking any dignity.
As I led my team into the store, the first thing I saw was this scene. The four members of my team followed behind me, staring in disbelief.
A petite girl with a sweet appearance, dressed in a gentle little dress, boldly placed one foot on a chair, hands on her hips, cursing like a fishwife—she had more fighting spirit than anyone.
Noticing her ex-husband's arrival, Yun Zhi Yue's face twitched as she quickly put her foot down and stood up straight. Tears welled up in her eyes as she hugged herself tightly against the bar corner, looking as if she had been frightened.
She trembled and said, 'Shen Chuan, why did it take you so long to get here? Look at how they are bullying me!'"
