The retro style of the Nie Family stands in stark contrast to the opulence of the Feng Family, which is fully reflected in their luxurious architecture. The expansive courtyard of the Feng Family feels like stepping into a lavish European palace, where golden hues shimmer against one another, making each villa resemble a grand castle. Those who drive into the Feng Family estate feel as though they have received a royal invitation to a grand event.
Inside a flashy sports car are Yun Shijiu and Yun Yue Shi. After presenting their invitation to the gatekeeper, he glanced inside their vehicle, his eyes flickering with surprise—was there one less person? Nevertheless, he allowed them entry, and as they passed through, he immediately reported via his earpiece.
Observing the extravagance around them, Yun Shijiu scoffed, "With such ostentation, if I were the president of this country, I'd be the first to take them down."
Yun Yue Shi gazed out the window as they continued driving through the expansive courtyard. He remarked thoughtfully, "This is an expansion by the Phoenix Clan. It’s difficult for the leaders of this country to act against beings that surpass humanity."
Even though the Phoenix Clan is restricted, they still possess many means against humans. It was wise for them to be reborn into a presidential family; if something were to happen to the highest leader, this country would truly descend into chaos.
Yun Shijiu chuckled, "No wonder my sister said they’re cornered and desperate. They even had to take matters into their own hands; there's really no need for us to fear them striking back at us."
As protagonists, the two brothers arrived fashionably late. Inside the villa hosting the banquet, numerous guests mingled amidst hollow laughter and clinking glasses; no one truly regarded Sister Three's younger brother. Most had already uncovered his background—despite being impressive, it was a fact that he came from an orphanage and was not on the same level as those from wealthy families.
As for why Feng Rujiao invited Yun Zhi Yue, it was still unclear whether it was due to Nie Xi or Nie Zhui. If it were for Nie Xi, it would indicate goodwill from their elders, intending to pave a way for him in the capital; they would simply show some courtesy. However, if it were for Nie Zhui—well, that would certainly be entertaining.

At this table were only three elderly gentlemen; to their right sat their direct descendants and heirs, while behind them were their grandchildren—all seating arrangements meticulously planned. Feng Rujiao, Nie Zhui, Nie Langyuan, and Nie Xi occupied a third table, listening intently to conversations among the elders as everyone remained curious about one particular guest's intentions.
The old man arrived uninvited, surprising both families of Feng Nie.
