Hou Yuan scoffed, "This isn't a mockery from me. Just a few of you have some reputation, but compared to Xiong Lie, you're simply not worth mentioning. And you talk about the title of Beast King? What nonsense!"
Mo Li moved closer and grabbed Hou Yuan's wrist.
Hou Yuan's bulging eyes nearly popped out as he felt the grip. "If we want the title of Beast King, we certainly won't lack confidence. We are all anomalies within the beast clan; surviving has its challenges. If we can obtain a position among the beast clan, at least it could change our circumstances. I have my own motives, and so do you; why not join forces?"
Hou Yuan's expression changed several times before he finally settled on a resolute look. "If you succeed, provide a place for those weak Flying Beasts."
Mo Li nodded in agreement.

They stepped on her hand and burned it with Immortal Flame while humiliating her. The queen didn't utter a sound. Later, Your Majesty arrived, and those people were burned to death. After that, chaos erupted in the Immortal Phoenix Clan, and I managed to escape from Skyfeather City amidst the turmoil."
Mo Ran's fingers cracked as he squeezed them tightly, his slit pupils emerging in his eyes. "How badly is her hand injured?"
The hummingbird trembled under his gaze and stammered, "Immortal Flame is the most powerful fire; its destructive force is immense. I saw that the queen's hand was charred black; it must be necrotic flesh. Recovery is nearly impossible unless we find the nearly extinct Shengxi Guo and apply its juice to regenerate her flesh. Kong Yu Zhi Wang has already ordered a search."
Hou Yuan interjected, "Xiong Lie has some in his possession; he obtained it when he was Beast King. Though he treasures it and hasn't leaked any information, the little birds have seen it. Even if he loses the title of Beast King, he won't give it to us."
"If he won't give it, we can take it," Mo Li said coldly.
Chuan Yi's eyes flickered momentarily. "Wait a minute; if Kong Yu Zhi Wang wants Shengxi Guo, what if we spread the word that it's in the hands of the Beast King? Do you think he'll come personally?"
The queen has a notorious reputation in Kong Yu and lacks the ability to protect herself; when Kong Yu Zhi Wang descends upon Qing Tower, he will undoubtedly bring Yun Zhi Yue along with him.
Hou Yuan laughed heartily. "Competing for a Female with Kong Yu Zhi Wang? How thrilling! Spreading rumors is my specialty; just leave it to me."
Under the blazing sun, fiery red wings soared swiftly.
Yun Zhi Yue lay on the back of the Phoenix, hugging its neck and smiling brightly. "Why did you suddenly bring me down from Qing Tower? You said you wouldn't agree before."
"Your hand needs Shengxi Guo to recover; it's in the possession of the Beast King." A melodious male voice came from the bird's beak.
Yun Zhi Yue stroked the crown feathers on the Phoenix's head that no one dared touch: "So it's all for my hand! Your Majesty truly cares about me, but I can't feel that warmth of concern. Your Majesty, do you think something is wrong with me?"
Yan Lue Chen Mo took a long time to respond, "You are not bad; you just get stuck in your own thoughts. It's like how even the closest partners can argue, but once the anger passes, they will still be the most loving."
"Hehe, Your Majesty's explanation is quite unique. I see that even beastman partners can fight fiercely after an argument. That kind of passionate love and hate seems even more exhilarating, full of boldness and revenge."
