"Hurry up, Mo Li! We can't let Mo Ran get ahead!"
Laughter like silver bells echoed through the forest as two large black snakes raced toward a distant tree adorned with red foliage. Yun Zhi Yue sat atop one of the snakes, her laughter ringing out joyfully.
They were having a race to see who could reach the tree first. It was no surprise that as twins, their speed was nearly equal; despite their reluctance to admit it, they were alike in every way, not just in appearance.
Finally, they reached the base of the tree together. Mo Li raised his snake's head high, lifting Yun Zhi Yue with it as she held a small basket.
Standing on the moving black serpent, she reached out to pluck the bright red fruits from the branches. Occasionally, she tossed a handful to Mo Ran or fed them into Mo Li's waiting mouth below.
She still struggled to distinguish between the two of them and often mixed them up, but there were subtle differences in their personalities—Mo Li was slightly more composed.
Perhaps it was because Yun Zhi Yue had spent too much time on Mo Li's back that Mo Ran, feeling displeased with the situation, coiled his tail around her waist and pulled her away.
"Ah!"
Yun Zhi Yue exclaimed as the large snake transformed into a handsome man who pinned her against the tree and kissed her.
The bright red fruits scattered across the ground as she tried to push him away, but her strength was no match for that of a beastman. Soon enough, her clothes vanished under Mo Ran's teasing words as he claimed everything from her.
Yun Zhi Yue felt so embarrassed she wanted to sink into the ground. Meanwhile, Mo Li stood by, seemingly aware of her discomfort.
With a low chuckle, Mo Ran said, "Brother already avoided this; he knows you don't want to handle both of us at once."
Her mind exploded at those words. Was it really okay to say such things? And this idea that beastmen could mate freely during their heat—she simply couldn't adapt to it.
Just when she felt dazed from all the teasing, she sensed that Mo Ran had stepped away. Moments later, her waist was lifted again—what a scoundrel!
Fuming at the man before her and seeing the affection in his dark green eyes, Yun Zhi Yue suddenly realized: "You are Mo Li."
Mo Li's gaze flickered for an instant before he shook his head. "No."
Yun Zhi Yue retorted angrily, "What do you mean 'no'? You two are simply too much!"
Mo Li quickly pulled her into his arms to comfort her as she began to cry. "Don't cry."
Wuwuwu, could this dimension not be so chaotic?
Attracted by the sound of crying, the little snake that was Mo Ran slithered over and coiled around Yun Zhi Yue's waist, seemingly trying to comfort her. However, she was still in a heated argument with Mo Li.
Ah, she was about to lose her mind! Her worldview simply could not be reconciled with these two brothers. She knew they meant well, but at that moment, her frustration was reaching its peak.
With a sense of resignation, she covered her face and lay back, thinking, whatever, in this beastly world of Dimension, it couldn't get any worse than this. She would just take it as a lesson learned.
When both of them transformed back into black snakes and coiled around her again, Yun Zhi Yue felt a surge of anger. She grabbed their tails and tied them in a knot before tossing them aside.
Once she had composed herself, she picked up her small basket and continued gathering herbs nearby. Fortunately, during this time spent absorbing the spirit of the woods daily, she had strengthened her body. After their wild antics, she was too exhausted to climb back up.
She initially intended to collect some herbs but then spotted a vast sea of pink flowers—flowers she had never seen before. They were stunningly beautiful.
As Yun Zhi Yue gazed at the blossoms swaying in the wind, her mood began to lift.
