For several days, the two had not attended classes, and there had been some friction between their respective groups. After all, Zhi Yue Fei Ying had previously clashed with Yu Yu, even stabbing Yu Yu during the Battle. As a Pureblood, no one dared to express their dissatisfaction towards her, and with her absence these past few days, it was not surprising that others from the Higan Sakura Clan were being targeted.
The atmosphere in the classroom was thick with tension, almost palpable. Jing You's human identity became the primary target for attacks. Anjie Ryougu scoffed, “I really can’t understand it. How can a mere human sit at the same table as us? The world has truly become strange.”
For Anjie Ryougu, who had attempted to drink her blood multiple times, Jing You felt a sense of disdain. Moreover, she was not someone who could be easily bullied. She retorted, “Speaking of which, I can sit here thanks to the difficulties caused by Xie Liang Gong back then. If you hadn’t brought people to try and suck my blood, how would Yun Zhi Yue have saved me? Our bond is also due to Xie Liang Gong.”
Pfft! Natsuki Watanabe couldn't help but laugh.
Anjie Ryougu's expression darkened as memories of that incident resurfaced. Feeling increasingly frustrated lately, he couldn’t believe that a mere human could disrupt his mood. With a swift motion, he summoned vines from his palm and lashed out.

The vines struck Morei Xufang's barrier. Anjie Ryougu sneered, “Protecting him so fiercely? Are you interested?”
Morei Xufang sat to the side, flipping through books from Rose Academy. Beneath his slightly curled hair, his handsome face bore an air of indifference.
“Don’t get ahead of yourself. You’re not worthy to teach an adult’s younger sister a lesson. To sum it up in three words: you don’t deserve it!”
Anjie Ryougu slammed his hand on the table and was about to confront Morei Xufang when the classroom door swung open, plunging everyone into silence.
Zhi Yue Fei Ying entered just as she had when she first arrived at Rose Academy, hanging limply around Yu Yu’s neck. Yu Yu moved without hesitation, ignoring the many gazes upon them as she smoothly walked to her seat.
She adjusted herself comfortably in her embrace while they both focused on the book in her hands.
“Zhi Yue Fei Ying, are you with him again?” Anjie Ryougu couldn’t hold back and asked directly.
The response was a powerful blow; Anjie Ryougu was struck against the wall by a force of spatial energy, causing cracks to appear in the classroom wall.
Yu Yu didn't even glance over.
Flipping through the book in her hands, she remarked, "You should know better, Hiizakura-sama. There's no need for you to stay by my side if you lack basic etiquette. Just go on your own, Ryo Miyako from the Vampire Clan."
Anjie Ryougu was aware that her words were offensive, but she was dismissed.
"Don't make me say it a second time," Yu Yu interrupted directly.
Zhi Yue Fei Ying shot a glance at Yu Yu's expression. Could it be that Yu Yu had seen through Anjie Ryougu's intentions? Never mind; it wasn't her concern. She buried her little head into Yu Yu's embrace, pretending nothing had happened.
A smile flickered in Yu Yu's eyes as she read, playing with the small hand nestled in hers.
When Hu Jin arrived for class, she happened to see Anjie Ryougu leaving in despair.
"Hey, where are you going?"
Yu Yu spoke up, "Anjie Ryougu will be dropping out. Hu Jin, you don't need to worry about it. Let's get to class."
Dropping out? Hu Jin was taken aback.
Seeing the gloomy one snuggle back into Yu Yu's embrace, she suddenly understood—this must be the power of gloominess.
