A warm smile spread across Yue Tong's face again. "Though I’m not the one who brings you happiness, it’s a bit regrettable. But of course, I want to witness Yun Zhi Yue's moment of happiness."
Yun Zhi Yue smiled back. "That’s great! I hope Yue Tong will always be Yue Tong and never become someone who disrupts my happiness."
Yue Tong didn’t respond further; their gazes locked onto each other. There was no sweetness of lovers or warmth of friends between them—strangely, there was a clash of sharp energies.
Lan Mu watched in confusion and turned to look at Yun Fu.
Yun Fu frowned, feeling inexplicably uneasy. But seeing the bandages wrapped around Yue Tong's body, he suppressed that unease.
