Yun Zhi Yue was taken aback, speechless. "Dad, have you been watching too many palace dramas? Nan Jing isn't some phoenix man; he has the Nan Family backing him and wouldn't stoop to scheming against us."

"I initially thought that since you weren't interested and weren't serious about blind dates, I might as well hand things over to Yue Tong. Your shares along with your mother's would be enough for both of you to live comfortably."
Yun Zhi Yue straightened up. "Dad, that's too much! No matter how grateful I am for his help in saving me, I can't just give away our family's assets. I won't agree to it, no matter how much money is offered; the shares are non-negotiable."
Yun sighed. "You're my only daughter. If you refuse, I'll have to think of another way to compensate."
"Compensate? Now that we're at this point, Dad, why don't you tell me about those matters? I'm curious."
Yun fell silent for a long moment before finally revealing a past incident under Yun Zhi Yue's eager gaze.

During this time, Yun Country sensed that something was amiss and sought to halt its expansion. However, Yue Xiang, whose rise had completely transformed the fate of a small-time thug, vehemently disagreed.
No matter how Yun tried to persuade him, it was futile. After an incident where Yue Xiang secretly harmed someone, Yun lost hope and decided to leave. When he candidly expressed his intentions to Yue Xiang, it struck a heavy blow to him.
It seemed that he could not accept Yun's betrayal in wanting to leave, nor could he bear the fact that his good brother, who had been by his side all along, had concealed the truth of being a scion of a wealthy family. Seeing Yue Xiang in such distress, Yun felt equally pained and promised that as long as Yue Xiang would back down, he would not leave the country.
