Yun Zhi Yue was speechless. "Who uses a little yellow car to cheer up a girl? Is this guy even sane?" After thinking for a moment, she continued, "Actually, I wasn't joking earlier. I couldn't hold it in and said it before remembering my mom, so I didn't dare to ask again."

Yun Zhi Yue's expression darkened slightly. "Including my mom's shares, we would just break even."
Zhou Yu's pupils constricted. "Including Aunt Lan's shares, you would just break even? That means he has more. If he truly accepts it, with Yun Shu on his side, you have no chance at all."
Yun Zhi Yue sighed. "I know. Honestly, I don't care about this. Even if I only had a small stake, I'd be fine; besides, he has done me favors."
"What worries me is what my dad means by this. If my mom finds out, how can our family be okay?"
Zhou Yu pondered for a moment. "Could it be that he really is his illegitimate son? That's why he wrote those lyrics—sounds like a confession but feels off somehow."
"Come on," Yun Zhi Yue replied. "I don't think he likes me. He doesn't have that kind of personality; he can't even muster up a single word."
"Don't you think that his every move now resembles Yu Ge?" she suddenly added.
Zhou Yu was taken aback.
Nan Jing summarized calmly, "You think you two have no connection, but he's been paying attention to you all along. You liked Zhou Yu for years and just gave up completely; now he shows up as the kind of person you like—there must be some grand scheme behind this. You cannot let him have those shares; find a way to stop Yun Shu."
Yun Zhi Yue felt troubled. "How can I stop him? The shares are in my dad's hands; he can give them to whoever he wants."
"Get engaged to him as the heir of the Nan Family and the Yun Family," Nan Jing suggested calmly.
Zhou Yu chuckled lightly. "That's a great idea!"
Yun Zhi Yue glanced sideways at Xiang Nan Jing and said, "Oh, you think others must have grand schemes? I see the one with the grand scheme is you."
Yue Tong interjected, "At most, you’ll take half the kingdom. You want both Yun and the people, don’t you? How shameless."
Nan Jing replied seriously, "What I mainly want is you, Yun. As for the rest, you don’t like managing affairs, so you can just sleep in at home."
He added, "All those blind dates you have are fine; why can’t I be one of them? Compared to them, my value is much higher."
Of course not, he thought to himself; the strategy hasn’t been fully exhausted yet.
While contemplating this, Yun Zhi Yue cast a glance at Zhou Yu and then turned to look out the car window, refusing to continue the conversation.
Zhou Yu's expression changed instantly as he turned back to drive obediently. If looks could kill, he would have been left in tatters by Nan Jing's glare.
What kind of situation is this? Is he really going to find a woman first and cut off Yun Zhi Yue's last shred of hope?
Nan Jing furrowed his brows, a hint of confusion flashing in his eyes. He felt that Yun Zhi Yue had lost interest in Zhou Yu, but why reject him in such a manner?
