"Chu Sheng, your strength truly exceeds my expectations. But is this all you have? With such little power, do you really think you can turn the tide?" 0

From the darkness, Shura slowly emerged. He looked like a different person, enveloped in black mist, resembling a coal-black ball. In his hand, he wielded a long knife, entwined with eerie black energy that looked sinister. His eyes were filled with bloodthirsty excitement. 0

" elder Li, you all retreat first," Chu Sheng said in a deep voice, his gaze fixed on Shura without daring to relax for a moment. 0

elder Li hesitated for a moment. "Chu Sheng, his current state is very dangerous. You..." The old man was still being indecisive at such a critical moment. 0

"Don't worry, I can handle him." Chu Sheng revealed a cold smile, though inside he was calculating; Shura looked quite ominous, and he needed to be cautious. 0

Seeing Chu Sheng's expression, Shura suddenly burst into laughter. "Handle me? With you, a puppet cultivated by Zheng Shen? How ridiculous! Do you think that just because you've gained a bit of power you can control your own fate? You're just a marionette pretending to be a big shot!" 0

"Puppet?" Chu Sheng's eyes turned cold, and his heart skipped a beat. How did this guy know about that? "What else do you know?" 0

Shura grinned maliciously, swinging his long knife through the air to carve out a black arc like some ghostly script. "I know plenty. You're merely a pawn set up by Zheng Shen. I am the one who truly controls fate! You little nobody think you can fight me?" 0

"Enough with the nonsense; stop babbling," Chu Sheng said dismissively. In an instant, he vanished like an arrow released from its bow. 0

"Come at me!" Shura shouted, his long knife slicing down with a whistling sound. The momentum was indeed intimidating. 0

The two clashed instantly, blades flashing and sparks flying as if firecrackers were being set off during the New Year. Chu Sheng moved with lightning speed across the battlefield like an eel, launching attacks that poured down like a torrential rain, catching Shura off guard. 0

The Asura responded with a strange agility, each strike infused with a sinister energy that sent chills down one's spine. 0

“Rapid!” Chu Sheng shouted softly, his body suddenly accelerating, transforming into a blur so fast it dazzled the eyes. 0

A flicker of surprise crossed Asura's eyes, but it quickly morphed into a sinister grin. “Interesting! However…” 0

Before he could finish his sentence, Chu Sheng had already appeared behind him, delivering a powerful punch aimed at his back. The speed was nothing short of extraordinary. Asura seemed to anticipate this, twisting his body in an uncanny manner and sweeping his long blade to block Chu Sheng's attack. 0

“Clang!” A loud sound erupted, ringing in their ears. 0

Chu Sheng was forced to retreat, but a glimmer of amusement flashed in his eyes. Just then, the Merit Book suddenly emitted a dazzling light, and a powerful force surged into his body, filling him with an overwhelming strength, as if he had been injected with adrenaline. 0

“What is this…” Asura sensed the change in Chu Sheng's aura, his expression shifting slightly as he inwardly cursed himself for underestimating the situation. 0

Chu Sheng didn’t give him time to think. He shot forward like a cannonball. This time, his speed was even greater, and his strength more formidable. Each punch carried the sound of thunder, forcing Asura to retreat step by step. 0

Asura swung his blade repeatedly to block, but each collision left his arms numb and his palms stinging. How could this kid's strength have suddenly increased so dramatically? 0

“Damn it!” Asura roared, unleashing a surge of black mist that erupted like boiling ink, splattering everywhere. “Taste the power of Evil God! Let me show you what true strength looks like!” 0

The black mist transformed into countless dark tendrils, corrosive in nature and resembling an octopus's tentacles as they lunged toward Chu Sheng. Yet, instead of retreating, Chu Sheng advanced through the mist with ease, moving like a swimming fish. Each strike landed precisely on Asura's vital points, making him cry out in pain. 0

“Pfft!” The Demon Lord spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, the black mist surrounding him began to dissipate, like a deflated balloon, limp and powerless. He looked at Chu Sheng in disbelief, “How is this possible… how could you…?” 0

“This is the power of the Evil God that you take pride in?” Chu Sheng sneered. “It’s nothing but this. With such meager skills, do you really think you can fight me?” 0

A flicker of madness suddenly flashed in the Demon Lord's eyes. “No… it’s impossible! I will not lose! I absolutely will not lose to you, you little bastard!” 0

With a roar, the black mist around him surged violently, his power skyrocketing to a terrifying level, as if he had taken a stimulant, causing him to swell in size. The long blade in his hand erupted with even stronger black energy, carrying the scent of death as it slashed toward Chu Sheng. The momentum was enough to obliterate everything in its path. 0

“Die! You damned bastard!” 0

In the face of this terrifying strike, however, Chu Sheng revealed a cold smile. The light of the Merit Book burst forth once more, golden radiance wrapping around his fist like a golden gauntlet as he charged directly toward the black blade’s glow, his aura unwavering. 0

“Boom!” A tremendous sound erupted, shaking the earth and mountains, plunging the entire battlefield into a brief silence where even a falling needle could be heard. 0

As the dust settled, everyone witnessed a shocking scene. 0

The Demon Lord's long blade had shattered into two pieces, resembling a burnt stick, while he himself flew backward like a broken kite, crashing heavily to the ground and struggling to rise for quite some time. The black mist around him had completely vanished, revealing a face filled with terror, as if he had seen a ghost. 0

“This… this is impossible…” The Demon Lord struggled to lift his head, fear filling his eyes like that of a lamb awaiting slaughter. “Who… who are you really?” 0

Chu Sheng slowly approached the Demon Lord, his gaze icy as if it were eternal ice. “Didn’t you say you knew a lot? Then tell me, what do you know?” 0

At that moment, a strange glimmer flashed in Shura's eyes. "Hehe... Chu Sheng, do you really think you've won? You're too naive!" 0

His voice suddenly turned eerie. "Do you know how your parents died?" 0

Chu Sheng's pupils constricted sharply. "What did you say?" 0

Shura grinned maliciously, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. "Do you want to know the truth? Then..." 0

Before he could finish his sentence, a surge of black light erupted from within him. In an instant, he transformed into a cloud of black mist, dissipating into the air without leaving a trace, except for his final laughter echoing in the night sky: 0

"Chu Sheng, this game has only just begun..." 0

"Damn Riddler!" 0
