I took out a stick of Dragon's Blood Incense from my belongings and carefully lit it. This incense was something I had secretly hidden away, meant to soothe the Snake Mother. The other snakes around Snake Mother Cliff quieted down. 0

I let out a sigh of relief, but I noticed that the Snake Mother was still watching me. Even when I turned away, its gaze followed closely behind. Why was it staring at me? 0

"Do you have something to say to me?" I asked. 0

The Snake Mother couldn't move; it could only lie on the ground. Its eyes remained fixed on me. Gathering my courage, I crouched down in front of it and asked again, "Do you have something to tell me?" 0

Why wouldn't it speak? Could it not talk? 0

"I... I can't understand your words." 0

It continued to look at me, still unresponsive. 0

"Then I'll go face the wall." 0

With no other choice, I walked past Snake Mother Cliff, cutting off our eye contact. 0

As the sun began to set, I saw dragon father return from outside, his expression cold and stern. He ignored me and went straight into the house. 0

Soon after, laughter filled the room—Dragon Mother’s delighted voice rang out. How wonderful; I wished I could laugh like that too. But dragon father never praised me, and Dragon Mother only scolded me. 0

If I could make Dragon Mother happy, would she compliment me? I remembered discovering a spiritual spring years ago and had specifically gone there to fetch some water. It would be perfect for Dragon Mother, who had just given birth to my little brother. 0

I prepared a medicinal dish using the Snow Lotus I had just picked, combined with the spring water, and brought it to Dragon Mother. 0

"Dragon Mother, I made this especially for you. Please give it a try." 0
I looked at Dragon Mother with eager anticipation. 0
She took a bite and then splashed it all over me. "Are you trying to kill your brother?" 0
"This Snow Lotus is freezing; how could your brother possibly handle it?" 0
I didn't understand how the intense cold of the Snow Lotus was related to my brother. 0
I dared not retort and could only silently endure Dragon Mother's anger. 0
"You can't treat a child like this; you'll scare him." 0
It was the voice of the Dragon King. 0
He was scolding Dragon Mother. 0
I slowly raised my head, only to find that the Dragon King was speaking to my brother. 0
He didn't even look at me. 0
I stepped outside, one foot crossing the threshold, but I couldn't help but turn back. 0
Dragon Mother smiled gently, and dragon father did too. 0
They were all gathered around my brother. 0
Until one day, I discovered that my brother had no arms. 0
dragon father and Dragon Mother told me not to speak of it to anyone. 0
I understood. 0
In fact, I felt quite strange myself. 0
But I really liked my brother. 0
After all, his arrival brought such joy to dragon father and Dragon Mother. 0
"Wang Long, this is Night Pearl." 0
One day, Dragon Mother handed me a pearl. 0
I happily accepted it. 0
Holding the Night Pearl high in my hand, I wanted all the dragons in our clan to see it. 0
"You fool, give me what you have in your hand." 0
It was A Mo. 0

He was incredibly strong, and I couldn't match him. 0
"Let go of me, A Mo! Let go of me!" 0
I shouted, calling for A Mo's Dragon Mother. 0
I thought A Mo's Dragon Mother would give him a good lesson. After all, he had taken my belongings. 0
But instead, A Mo's Dragon Mother threw Night Pearl away. 0
I watched as Night Pearl soared high into the sky, eventually disappearing from sight. 0
A Mo's Dragon Mother shot me a disdainful glance. 0
"What if you get Night Pearl? It’s not something you deserve, you monster." 0
I rushed outside, only to find that Night Pearl was already gone. 0
A Mo's Dragon Mother dragged A Mo back while scolding him, "You even want someone else's worthless trinket? Can’t you aim for something better in the future?" 0
"Dragon Mother, that was Night Pearl." 0
"What Night Pearl? It's just some junk that others discarded." 0
"And don’t hang around that monster anymore." 0
"She’s just a Snake Embryo, born of a snake; even her dragon father doesn’t recognize her!" 0
I stood there in shock. 0
My dragon father doesn’t recognize me? 0
Wasn’t I born of dragon father and Dragon Mother? 0
A Mo turned back and made a face at me. 0
"You’re just a monster, a child born of a mother snake!" 0
I stood frozen in place. 0
The snakes in the delivery room, and my brother... 0
Who exactly am I? 0
