As one security guard was preparing to let them pass, another security guard tapped on the board in his hand, clearly suspicious of the two's presence. "Wasn't there any cleaning scheduled for today? Did you get the dates mixed up?" His eyes were filled with doubt, and his hand had already quietly moved to rest on the knife at his waist.
The two members of the Red Flame Army felt a chill, but they remained calm. One of them smiled and replied, "We were called in on short notice. Xiao Yun finally climbed out of the barrel, feeling a wave of hot air hit her face. She quickly scanned her surroundings and realized that they seemed to be in the restaurant on the lower deck of the ship. Since the warship had not yet been officially delivered and was only docked, there were far fewer personnel on board than she had imagined, which made her feel somewhat relieved.
Guo Sheng and Lian Rong also crawled out of the barrel, and the three quickly gathered together. One member of the Red Flame Army whispered to them, "There are few people here, but we must not let our guard down. We need to place the explosives in several key locations."
Xiao Yun nodded and carefully followed the member of the Red Flame Army as they moved inside the ship. The restaurant had simple furnishings, with several long tables and chairs arranged neatly, and some kitchen utensils in the corner. The lighting inside the ship was dim, but sufficient for them to see their way.
