Tang Che pulled me into his embrace. 0

I collided with his firm chest and looked up at him. He slowly lowered his head. My breath quickened, and my heart raced. I closed my eyes, waiting for his kiss to descend. His lips brushed against mine, and his tongue pried open my lips, exploring inside. His kiss was both fiery and gentle. My breath became heated, and my cheeks flushed. I gradually closed my eyes, savoring his kiss. 0

When the kiss ended, he released me. I opened my eyes to look at him. His gaze was deep, and I noticed his Adam's apple bobbing slightly. He said, "Su Mei, let's get married." 0

The Yu Tian family's company announced its bankruptcy. After enduring several crises, Jiang Yu's company finally revived. Jiang Yu sat in his office, watching the snowflakes fluttering down outside, lost in thought. 0

Two years ago, at a friend's wedding, I appeared before him in a white gown. He spotted me instantly. He walked over, steadying me as his gaze locked onto mine. A lot had happened between us since then. His engagement with Yu Tian had also been called off. He never expected Yu Tian would do something like that. If he had known, he would never have been with her. 0

He dreamt countless times of that day when I appeared at his friend's wedding. He wished to change the outcome in those dreams, but it was futile. I had already left him. 0

He had forever lost the chance to reconcile with me. 0
... 0
Jiang Yu was ill. 0
In the late stages of cancer. 0
One rainy night, he woke up and watched the raindrops hitting the windowsill. 0
A dull pain surged in his chest. 0
He picked up his phone and booked a flight to Fengcheng. 0
He went to my apartment. 0
But there was no one inside. 0
He knocked on the door for a long time, but no one answered. 0
He then went to the property management office. 0
They told him that Tang Che and I had already moved away. 0
Jiang Yu took out his phone, wanting to call me, but then put it away again. 0
He went to meet a client about a project, and after finishing his business, he sat in the car waiting. 0
He waited for a long time until he finally saw Tang Che and me returning together. 0
He watched as we walked side by side, chatting and laughing. 0
A dull pain struck his heart again. 0
He lowered his gaze and forced a bitter smile. 0
It turned out that I had already let go of everything from the past and was with Tang Che now. 0
My new life had begun, while he remained trapped in the past. 0
He closed his eyes and leaned back in his seat. 0
Outside, the sound of a car approached. 0
He opened his eyes and saw Tang Che parking the car, then getting out to open the door for me. 0
I stepped out and saw Jiang Yu. 0
I hadn't expected him to come to Fengcheng. 0
Even less did I expect him to look for me. 0
I stared at Jiang Yu, somewhat taken aback. 0
Jiang Yu saw me too. 0
He smiled and said, "I came to discuss a project; I happened to pass by here." 0
I nodded slightly, "Would you like to come up for a bit?" 0
Jiang Yu shook his head, "No, I need to accompany my client tonight." 0
He watched us leave before finally withdrawing his gaze. 0

I watched as the rain outside grew heavier. 0

I remembered that Jiang Yu hadn’t brought an umbrella. After a moment of thought, I decided to go down and bring him one. 0

As soon as I stepped outside, Tang Che followed me. 0

He asked, “Where are you going?” 0

“I’m going to bring an umbrella to Jiang Yu.” 0

Tang Che was silent for a few seconds before saying, “I’ll go with you.” 0

I shook my head. “No need, you can stay and cook. I’ll go by myself.” 0

Tang Che insisted, “I’ll accompany you.” 0

He came down the stairs with me. 0

Jiang Yu was standing downstairs, watching the rain outside. 0

I walked over and handed him the umbrella. “Jiang Yu, take this so you don’t get wet.” 0

Jiang Yu snapped back to reality and took the umbrella. “Thank you.” 0

I shook my head. “You’re welcome.” 0

Turning to Tang Che, I said, “Let’s go.” 0

Tang Che held my hand as we went back upstairs. 0

Jiang Yu watched my departing figure and softly said, “Su Mei, I owe you an apology.” 0

I shook my head. “You don’t owe me anything.” 0

“Jiang Yu, I hope you’re happy.” 0

Jiang Yu paused for a moment. “Su Mei, you too.” 0

I nodded. “I will be.” 0
