He sprang into action immediately. After inquiring around the school, he learned that Zhu Hui had once tutored a student who ranked last in the entire grade to become one of the top ten students. This incident had caused quite a stir at the time. 0

Yang Qianfan pondered for a moment, thinking it would be a good idea to apply to the school for Zhu Hui to tutor him. This way, he would have the chance to get close to her. With this thought in mind, he rushed to the administration office and expressed his desire for Zhu Hui to help him with his studies. Upon hearing this, the director was moved to tears, feeling that a wayward youth was finally turning over a new leaf and ready to study hard and become a better person. Without hesitation, he agreed to Yang Qianfan's request. 0

After school that afternoon, fearing that his classmates would find out about Zhu Hui coming to tutor him, he forced all his classmates to leave. Once the classroom was empty except for him, he relaxed and confidently propped his legs up on the desk, humming a song by Jay Chou. He leisurely read a newspaper while waiting for Zhu Hui to arrive. 0

Before long, he heard someone knock on the door. He put down the newspaper and looked up to see none other than Zhu Hui standing outside. She had her backpack slung over one shoulder and was holding several books in her arms, curiously peering into the classroom. When Zhu Hui spotted Yang Qianfan sitting in the last row, she was equally surprised and asked, “What a coincidence! What are you doing here?” 0

“Yeah, what a coincidence! What am I doing here?” Yang Qianfan replied with a playful grin, his expression of surprise exaggerated for effect. 0

Zhu Hui smiled but didn’t respond directly; she blushed and walked into the classroom, placing her books on the podium. She then said, “This afternoon, the director suddenly came to my class and told me I needed to come to Sophomore Class 1 after school to tutor a student. But she hurried off without telling me who it was, so I still don’t know whether it’s a boy or a girl.” Suddenly remembering something, she curiously asked Yang Qianfan, “Oh, right! What are you doing here?” 0

“I’m waiting for you!” 0

“Waiting for me?” Zhu Hui pointed at herself, still confused. 0

Seeing her bewildered expression made Yang Qianfan chuckle. 0

“I’m the student waiting for you to tutor.” 0

“Oh, so it’s you!” Zhu Hui exclaimed in surprise, pointing at him with wide eyes. 0

“Yes, quite surprising, isn’t it?” Yang Qianfan smiled slightly at her, his gaze lingering on her. 0

“Um… a little surprising,” Zhu Hui admitted shyly as she lowered her head, her face turning red. 0

“I heard your grades are really good!” Yang Qianfan raised an eyebrow at her with an air of nonchalance. 0

“Yeah, my grades are good; I just haven’t ranked first in the entire grade,” Zhu Hui said with a self-deprecating smile as she walked toward him with her books in hand. 0

Yang Qianfan couldn’t help but laugh at her self-mockery and curiously asked, “What hobbies do you usually have?” 0

“There are many! For example, playing the violin, reading books, and playing table tennis,” Zhu Hui said, placing a few books she had been holding onto the desk beside him before sitting down next to him. 0

“Oh, so your interests are quite profound!” 0

“Yes, but I doubt my interests would consider me very profound.” 0

“Why is that?” 0

“Because I can only play three strings on the violin, read pirated books filled with typos, and play table tennis without a paddle,” Zhu Hui replied, blinking her adorable big eyes. 0

Yang Qianfan couldn’t help but burst into laughter at her humorous explanation and asked, “Are you always this funny?” 0

“No, that’s not humor; that’s optimism.” 0

“In your eyes, can every flaw turn into a virtue?” 0

“As long as you believe so, nothing is unchangeable.” 0

“Including your height?” Yang Qianfan looked at her with interest, a hint of mockery in his gaze. 0

Facing his provocation, Zhu Hui didn’t get angry. Instead, she retorted, “Although your question is quite rude, I’ll gladly interpret your ‘ignorance’ as ‘honesty.’” She raised an eyebrow triumphantly at Yang Qianfan, revealing a sly smile. 0

“You're really amusing. I bet you’re quite glad to be short, aren’t you?” Yang Qianfan also remained unfazed, an elegant smile still on his face. Suddenly, he seemed to think of something and feigned confusion as he added to his previous question, “Oh right, did you reach 1.6 meters?” 0

Despite his escalating provocation, Zhu Hui remained composed. She smiled calmly at him and replied, “Thank you for your concern, but I estimate my height will disappoint you because I’m still 0.06 meters away from that self-deprecating number. Just as you said, I am indeed quite glad to be short; at least when standing next to you, I can’t help but feel a sense of pride as if I were among the elite.” 0

“Really? How so?” 0

“At least I always hold my head high when interacting with others; I speak confidently and can face the world without shame. Unlike you, who seems to have your face buried in the ground as if you've committed some unforgivable mistake. Don’t you feel inferior standing next to me?” She sighed dramatically and shook her head as she added, “Alas! I truly sympathize with your lowly existence.” 0

“Alright, alright…” Yang Qianfan laughed and clapped for her repeatedly while scrutinizing her with a teasing gaze. “For such an extraordinary explanation just now, if it were the old me, I would have probably given you a memorable lesson with some punches by now.” 0

“Is that so? The Buddhist saying goes, ‘All evils will be rewarded, just watch the clouds rise,’ idn’are, it’s no big deal. I’ll just go with the flow,” Zhu Hui said, her demeanor calm and carefree, exuding an air of detachment as she spread her arms and smiled triumphantly at him. 0

“Now I finally understand why you’re so unpopular at school,” Yang Qianfan remarked with a smile as he flipped to the first page of his book. He looked up casually and added, “Someone once told me that your bones are tough, but now that I see you, I think your mouth is even tougher than your bones.” 0

“Of course! The hardest bones in the world still need to be chewed with the mouth,” Zhu Hui replied, turning to Lesson Seven in her English textbook. With a playful smile, she continued, “Now I’m going to start chewing on some bones. Back to business, read Lesson Seven aloud for me so I can hear if your pronunciation is accurate.” 0

Although Yang Qianfan was seething with anger, he swallowed his frustration and spent nearly ten minutes stumbling through a passage that wasn’t too long. 0

“Hmm! Not bad, not bad. At least you pronounced one word correctly,” Zhu Hui said with a smile and a nod of praise, though her eyes sparkled with mockery. 0

Hearing her compliment felt like hail shattering a car window to Yang Qianfan; he slammed his book shut and banged it down on the desk in annoyance. “Are you trying to compliment me?” 0

“No, you’re not yet qualified to receive my praise. I’m just encouraging you, so you better work hard!” Zhu Hui shot him a cold smile, raised her book again, and said, “Alright, now listen to me read it once. After I finish, compare how we read it differently and share your thoughts.” With that, she began reading aloud loudly. 0

After finishing the text quickly and fluently, she put down the book and asked Yang Qianfan for his impressions. 0

“Are you a parrot? Did someone cut your tongue so it’s shorter than normal? You read it in such a strange tone,” Yang Qianfan shrugged and rolled his eyes at her dismissively. 0

But Zhu Hui was not one to back down easily; she retorted sharply: 0

“Are you a lazy goat? Your tongue is always sticking out so long; are you hot? You read like a dog panting!” 0

“You—” Yang Qianfan was so enraged that he jumped up, trembling all over as he pointed at her, stammering with ‘you’ repeatedly but unable to form a complete sentence. 0

“Oh dear! Look at how worked up you are now; stick out your tongue to cool off. I won’t mind if your tone affects the air quality,” Zhu Hui said with a cold snort as she saw him fuming with rage, her eyes gleaming with triumph. 0

Despite being furious with Zhu Hui, Yang Qianfan tried his best to suppress his anger and keep a clear head as he plotted how to embarrass her next. 0

Once Zhu Hui finished reading the text, she began asking him to memorize the vocabulary from Lesson Seven. At that moment, Yang Qianfan was too angry to focus on memorizing words; all he could think about was how to deal with this annoying Dwarf Winter Melon. Although he hated Zhu Hui intensely, he didn’t want to simply crush her because that would make him seem foolish. Suddenly, an idea struck him regarding Zhu Hui’s name—“Zhu Hui” sounds like “pig can.” As he pondered this thought further, inspiration struck him. He took out a blank piece of paper from his drawer and wrote: “Sister Pig Can, you are the most beautiful sow I have ever seen in this world.” After finishing, he grinned mischievously at her as if plotting something sinister and silently handed her the folded note. 0

Zhu Hui opened the note and found nothing but smiled slightly at him before taking out her pen and writing on the back: “Mr. Yang Qianfan, you are the most foolish male goat I have ever seen in this world.” After writing that, she folded it neatly and handed it back. 0

Yang Qianfan opened the message and couldn't help but burst into anger, shouting, "Hey, what do you mean? I at least complimented you on your beauty! Why are you insulting me and calling me stupid?" 0

Zhu Hui heard this and couldn't help but laugh. She replied slowly, "First of all, you didn't compliment me on my beauty because I'm not a p——i——g. Secondly, you, a Male Goat, think I would compliment you on your handsomeness? Isn't that a bit foolish?" 0

"Wait a minute, what did you just say about 'pigs love chickens'? What does that mean?" Yang Qianfan suddenly interrupted her, pretending to be confused. 0

"'p——i——g' means pig! What's so strange about that?" Zhu Hui frowned at him, somewhat puzzled. 0

"What do you mean? Is a pig something that loves chickens? This is the first time I've heard that," Yang Qianfan pretended to mock her, shaking his head. 0

"If a pig isn't 'p——i——g', then what is it?" Zhu Hui was even more confused. 0

"A pig is 'p——u——g'. You should learn it well; don't get it wrong in front of others and make a fool of yourself." 0

"That's ridiculous! A pig is clearly 'p——i——g'. How could it possibly be 'p——u——g'?" Zhu Hui insisted firmly, believing she was right. 0

"A pig is 'u'." 0

"A pig is 'i'." 0

"A pig is 'yu—'" 0

"A pig is 'i—'" 0

"Yu—" 0

"I—" 0

…… 0

Seeing her argue until her face turned red and her neck strained, oblivious to the fact that he had been tricked, Yang Qianfan couldn't help but laugh. "Alright, I get it. You are a pig now; you don't need to explain any further." 0

Zhu Hui suddenly realized that she had been played for a fool after arguing for so long. Her face flushed with embarrassment as she berated herself internally for being so foolish as to admit she was a pig. 0

After a while, Zhu Hui began to dictate words for Yang Qianfan to write in English in his notebook. She called out over a dozen words, and to her surprise, Yang Qianfan wrote them down effortlessly, hardly stumbling over any word. Doubtful, Zhu Hui snatched his notebook to take a look and was instantly infuriated. She shouted at him, "I asked you to write the English words, not the pinyin!" In her anger, she picked up a pen and wrote out the words she had just dictated for him to see. 0

"Right, how could I be so stupid? If a pig can write these words, how come I can't?" Yang Qianfan feigned guilt while secretly cursing Zhu Hui for being a pig. 0

Seeing him take another jab at her by calling her a pig, Zhu Hui was momentarily at a loss for words and could only glare at him in silence. 0

An hour and a half later, the sun had dipped halfway below the horizon. The setting sun cast a blood-red glow through the classroom windows, painting everything in crimson. The special tutoring session came to an end, but Yang Qianfan still felt unsatisfied. Although he hadn’t learned much from the session, it was the first time he truly experienced how engaging it could be to compete with wit instead of violence. He found himself looking forward to Zhu Hui's tutoring the next day, hoping that her joy would bring him even more laughter. Afterward, they left the school together. As they parted ways, Yang Qianfan couldn't resist teasing her one last time. With a sly grin, he warned her, "Although pigs have big eyes, I've heard their eyesight isn't very good. So be careful when you're walking; don't mistake a van for one of your kind and run right into it." 0

Zhu Hui responded playfully, "Although male goats have long horns, I've heard their tempers aren't great either. So you better control your emotions and avoid causing trouble on the road. More importantly, don't mistake the police station for a sheep pen and wander in there." 0

With that, they exchanged playful glares before turning away and heading home with smiles on their faces. 0
